Reviews: Whale watching 2 hr cruise in Perth, Western Australia (departing from Fremantle)
Guest User2026-10-01
Highly recommended! The crew is very professional and seems to have equipment for whale watching. It takes about half an hour to get to the vicinity of the whale activity area, where they'll stop for photos and change pods. We were very lucky; sometimes there were humpback whales on both sides of the boat, and the whole deck was filled with photos. They provide digital photos for download, but even the ones taken with my phone are great! Having professional equipment would definitely be even better.

Reviews: Rottnest Island day experience tour [round-trip from Fremantle/Perth pier]
Guest User2026-02-22
The service was standard; the location indicated on Ctrip was accurate. Upon arrival, the staff asked for the number below the QR code, making ticket exchange easy. There were signs for the ticket office along the way. The itinerary itself was fine, but it's best to rent a bicycle on the island, otherwise, getting around is extremely difficult.

Reviews: Rottnest Island round-trip ferry + island bike 1-day self-guided tour, optional Perth transfers
Guest User2026-02-21
It would have been better if the tour operator was a lot more communicative. We were left to figure out a lot on our own. The returning and collection of bikes from the bike shop was particularly cumbersome and painful to organise.

Reviews: Rottnest Island Roundtrip Fast Ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour
Guest User2024-10-01
Rough on the way there, but we got to see whales so it was all the more worth it. No issues on the way back, but those with weak stomachs may not enjoy this ferry! Great service either way.

Reviews: Hillarys Boat Harbour: Rottnest Island Ferry Transfer
Guest User2026-10-06
Everything was smooth and as expected. Complimentary. The ferry was on time, instructions were clear, vessel was neat. City pick and drop made things even smoother. my pickup was 15 min away from my hotel, but during drop time, the driver by herself dropped me to a closer location. Really appreciate this.

Reviews: Perth: Whale Watching Cruise from Hillarys Boat Harbour
Guest User2026-10-28
Did not disappoint. We saw so many whales, all humpback which was as expected but we also saw many breeches and a tailslap, it was amazing. To make sure everyone could see the pods the boat was rotated which was great. The crew was also very respectful of the wildlife, not getting too close. Would highly recommend
