One important detail for fellow travellers: the connection did not activate immediately at the HCM airport immigration area. However, it connected perfectly once I reached the arrivals hall. I did have to restart my phone a couple of times to trigger the initial connection, but after that, the network coverage was excellent throughout my entire trip. Highly recommended for reliable data in Vietnam.

eSIM was very convenient for my 4-day, 3-night trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I used less than 1GB of daily data, so I bought quite a lot! If I were to recommend something, I'd suggest buying a data plan that balances out over the days. 3GB over 3 days is more than enough for those not using it for live streaming. The app lets you check your remaining data, and it's easy to install. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling abroad. No need for expensive roaming; eSIM is much better.


