We took this tour with IRENE and she was FABULOUS! She shared many interesting stories and facts about Cotopaxi. She made sure to keep us safe, and was so patient and helpful when climbing to the base of the volcano! She took pictures for us and shared them with us promptly!! She took us to a yummy breakfast and made a stop for cocoa tea. She then took us for a delicious lunch where we not only fed ourselves but got to feed carrots to the llamas, calves and chicken on premises. IRENE is fun, energetic and attentive! Don’t hesitate to book a tour with IRENE!!! Thank you, Irene, for a fantastic day!!â˜€ïžđŸŒ‹đŸ˜Š

Reviews: Horseback Riding and Cotopaxi National Park Day Trip
Guest User2024-06-26
Pros: we absolutely loved this tour. Diana, our guide was amazing, welcoming, friendly, answered questions, and was accommodating with stops for the bathrooms, coffee, and just to take photos. And of course hiking Cotopaxi was incredible. Plus the lunch was to die for. (And good vegetarian options!) Cons: the agenda listed horseback riding, hiking, and lunch. About 2hrs in we asked when we would be horseback riding and were told actually this tour had none! Not sure if we were put on the wrong tour or if this was just a change of plans, and we were more excited about hiking anyhow, BUT! If you desperately want to horseback ride, triple check. đŸ€Ł

Awesome trip. The Cotopaxi volcano is amazing. Way better in person and the Laguna was just beautiful. Cristian, our guide, was super chill and very kind. Overall a great experience and I recommend you do it if you’re in Quito. Easily a top 3 highlight. (Long day but worth it)

We had an unforgettable day trip to Mindo. Luiz, our driver, picked us up promptly from our Airbnb in Quito, and in the evening, he offered an extra service by driving us and our luggage to our next accommodation. The route from Quito to Mindo takes you through various microclimates. Our guide provided us with fascinating information about them along the way. In Mindo, we visited a bird sanctuary where numerous hummingbirds can be observed in their natural habitat – simply beautiful! Afterwards, we went to an adventure park where you can "fly" over the rainforest on various zip lines. The day was rounded off with a visit to a cacao plantation, where we learned a great deal about the production of cacao and chocolate. An eventful day that we will fondly remember.
