Reviews: Rio Vibes: Caipirinha Workshop (2 Caipis) + Funk Class + DJs
Guest User2026-11-01
The GPS took us a bit wrong; we ended up in a favela and bumped into a shooter. We were politely asked to leave and shown the correct route to the hostel. So, after turning up the hill, don't turn anywhere else. The hostel is right along the road. The event itself was delayed by about 40 minutes. Afterwards, bartender Roberta showed us how to make a caipirinha. Everything was easy and straightforward, and overall, she's a very nice girl. We each had one caipirinha, and then the funk class began. It's very energy-consuming, and it was hot and fun. After the class, we went back behind the bar and had another caipirinha. That was the end of the tour.

Erica was a fantastic host who created a warm, social and fun environment. The food we created was fresh and delicious. We learned lots about the food from each area and how we can replicate at home. Great event
