saved a little money as 2 excursions paired together. salt mines visited first. no time given to visit salt mine gift shop. it was all hurry hurry we must get back. could have also had more time in berchtesgaden. then had to wait an hour and a half between trips by changing buses. then got stuck waiting in traffic due to a city parade road closure. we will make the time up said the guide. that meant less time at the frequent stops for sound of music locations Over all a good trip which could have just been organised better with a bit more time allocated to various areas. after all it was described as a 9 hour day. pity about the time we lost waiting around in the middle★

The tour was great would have love to have see the place where the front of the house was filmed and where they filmed the last time they sang in Salzburg. The resturant was hard to find and food was ok
