Reviews: Xi'an Terracotta Warriors+Huaqing Palace+Song of Everlasting Sorrow 1-day tour
Guest User2026-11-01
Although this is a review by a Korean, I am using a translation style to ensure that people of other nationalities do not get stuck when translating. Please keep this in mind. It was a very fulfilling and enjoyable tour. From our first meeting, Iris meticulously checked the guest list and helped with hotel pickups. On the bus, she provided guidance not only on the tour locations but also on Xi'an as a whole. She told us everything from Xi'an's history and comparisons with other cities to scenic spots. If you are an independent traveler like me, be sure to join Iris's tour before starting your own itinerary to receive her recommendations and assistance. She will give you clear answers to your questions. Once you board the bus, she will send you photos via WeChat so you can choose from the menu. Be sure to drizzle chili oil and black vinegar over the Biang Biang noodles. For the dumplings, there are options served in soup and those without. If you order the non-soup option, the broth is served separately. A small portion of fried rice is included with the dumplings. If you order a Chinese-style hamburger, dry noodles (Liangpi) are included. After arriving at the Terracotta Army, she handed out earphones and guided us to the restrooms. Once the tour began, she explained everything from the general overview to the minute details. If you actually go and take the tour, you will be amazed once by her professional explanations and twice by her fluent answers to your questions. Since it can be difficult to take photos while fully enjoying the Terracotta Army, try targeting the pillars on either side rather than the center. You can take photos a little faster there. I particularly recommend the tour for the Terracotta Army; thanks to Iris's explanations, I learned many new things, such as the color differences and materials used for each soldier, as well as their postures, ranks, and hairstyles. Also, don't miss the VR experience. Everyone in my group, including those participating with me, was satisfied with the VR experience. At Huaqing Hot Springs (Huaqing Palace), listening to Iris's explanations and the story of Yang Guifei allows you to imagine what the site looked like in the past. In fact, warm steam still rises from it. I also recommend not missing the performance. The lighting and stage effects are very impressive. Since the temperature drops at night, be sure to bring a hand warmer.

Reviews: [Empress Wu's grand feast] Xi'an Datang Empress Wu's grand feast [Panoramic immersive ancient palace dining show]

Thank you for such an experience! They take care of the guest first and foremost: they pour tea, you drink wine, the food is wonderful, the presentation is very interesting; I even thought there was too much food! The dishes may seem unusual, but it's worth trying. Everything is well and clearly organized, and everyone knows their job. They are very attentive to the guests. The performances and the stage are amazing, including the acrobatics and flying actors. I also recommend arriving two hours before the event to choose your hanfu and get your makeup done; that way, you'll truly be immersed in the story. The girls who do your makeup and hair have excellent taste; they won't apply makeup with a clear outline, like you might for a photo outside. Everything is in moderation and tasteful, and they will take all your wishes into account or offer their own. Mine turned out very tender and sweet. If you choose the front row, the actors try to interact with you more often, which is also interesting, and they bring out the food first. I was in the last row, and I could still see everything clearly and without any obstructions. The atmosphere was comfortable. It was amazing, everyone should definitely go!

Reviews: Xi'an round-trip shuttle bus | Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum + Huaqing Palace admission ticket + Song of Everlasting Sorrow live performance
Guest User2019-10-09
Overall, a fantastic experience! Aside from the inclement weather, everything else was wonderful! Our beautiful guide, Ms. Zhang, was incredibly attentive and had a great sense of humor! Just like her iconic mascot, Pikachu, she was full of energy! And our driver, Mr. Feng, was a superb driver—fast and steady! Finally, a shout-out to Mr. Liu, the guide at the Terracotta Warriors Museum, employee number 862. His explanations were easy to understand and very entertaining! He introduced us to many historical stories and methods for identifying Lantian jade! Thumbs up!

"The Legend of the Camel Bell" is a spectacular show, a must-see! My wife and I were absolutely thrilled! The sets are simply incredible, the scale and technical execution are breathtaking. I've never seen anything like it in Russia. We never regretted the time and tickets; this spectacle is definitely worth it. It was an incredible, unforgettable experience! If you're ever in Xi'an, be sure to see this show—it was absolutely amazing!
