Reviews: Assisi: Walking Tour with St. Francis Basilica Visit
Guest User2026-10-27
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Tour with One Small Observation Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and places we visited. The tour was informative, engaging, and well organized. The only thing I would mention is that we noticed a general sense of exhaustion among many locals, not just our guide. It felt as though everyone was tired after a long tourist season. While I completely understand how demanding tourism can be, there were moments when that fatigue came across as a lack of warmth or enthusiasm, making us feel somewhat unwelcome. This was something we noticed throughout our visit, not just during this tour. A welcoming attitude can make a big difference in a visitor’s experience. Despite this, we truly enjoyed the tour, appreciated everything we learned, and would definitely recommend it!
