Reviews: Würzburg Old Town Tour with Wine Tasting on the Old Main Bridge
Guest User2026-09-27
Our tour guide Karin was absolutely fantastic! She had an incredible amount of knowledge, explained everything in a straightforward and engaging way. She was very friendly and approachable. It was a wonderful, lighthearted experience in perfect weather. The three selected wines were perfectly paired with each location and must have tasted quite good, as I don't drink alcohol myself… But without having asked, Karin had thoughtfully provided a delicious herbal lemonade! The tasting was rounded off with an incredibly tasty dark rye bread. In short: a truly wonderful city tour!

Darius came to pick up just as where he should have cancel our booking due to not enough participants as they cancel the tour last minute, but it was too close for him to do that. It always nice to have someone local like Darius who lives just next to the Nuremberg Wall to be your guide like he is showing you the back of his house, metaphorically. Put that aside, Darius is also, friendly, knowledgeable, well prepared and humorous. Would definitely recommend this tour!
