This was my first time using an eSIM card. I liked it: it was easy to register and activate on my phone. I got it for 13 days and used it in Thailand, sharing internet with a second phone. The signal was good, and everything loaded quickly. I used local messaging apps to order food and groceries. I also used Russian messaging apps for video calls home.
