Reviews: Kotor: Shore Excursion for Cruise Passengers
Guest User2026-10-21
There were only 8 of us from different cruise ships, and we were assigned a small van with Branco as the driver. During the ride, he calmly and patiently explained where we were going, how long the trip would take, and where he would pick us up again. The excursion, lasting over 4 hours, along and in the Bay of Kotor is very worthwhile for getting an impression, as is a visit to both islets and the church “Our Lady of the Rocks.” He told us about the history, the people, livelihoods, and the war, all with a touch of humor. We took the car onto the ferry and finally went to a higher point from where you have a magnificent view of the Bay of Kotor. I would highly recommend this morning tour; if you only have one day in Kotor, you can visit the old town in the afternoon and possibly climb the very high city wall. We had a great tour, thanks to Branco!
