We had a wonderful time on this excursion! As some other reviews mention, our guide did not speak much English, which is normal in this region and outside of the major cities. I speak some italian and understood well enough, my partner got by picking up some words and mostly observation. The orchard is stunning and you have an incredible view of most of the Aeolian islands on a clear day. The prep and meal area is outside under a shaded canopy, the breeze was a great relief from the scorching sun. Definitely would recommend this excursion, even if you don’t speak italian!

A fantastic location with an enchanting view of Stromboli, especially during sunset. We received an explanation of the six wines and enjoyed a buffet with typical Calabrian dishes. The white wines and rosé were very to our liking, but unfortunately, we found the three red wines a bit tart and very similar to each other. All in all, a wonderful experience and definitely recommended!

Reviews: Tropea Cooking Experience with Nonna

we had a great experience preparing these local dishes of fried zucchini flowers, pastas and a tiramisù. Nonna is lovely and a brilliant teacher, coming round to each of us to give hints and encouragement. Enzo was a great host translating everything really well and giving tips too how to do it at home later with the recipes. My wife and I had a great time and totally recommend it!
