Cool experience! I bought the voucher and made my reservation for the next day over the chat. There was a bit of confusion over what I had booked when I got there, but they sorted it out. The woman who did the tea ceremony was very knowledgeable and explained so much about the Chinese attitude to tea and the traditional practices around tasting it and how many times you can brew it. Overall a good tasting experience, just be prepared for a hard sales push after. I had planned to buy some teas but I was not prepared for the price point. It may be because of the tourist area, but these are way more expensive than even the priciest tea sellers I've bought from back home. I didn't know enough to be sure if I was being price gouged, so I only bought the smallest amount. Just be forewarned and enjoy the ceremony!

The Magellan Hotel is absolutely fantastic, a top choice for family vacations! Located near the beach, the scenery is breathtaking, the environment is superb, and you wake up to stunning views every day. A truly enjoyable resort. Speaking of the itinerary, I have to mention that, among private tours, only the Bali tour truly differentiates it from regular group tours. The difference is genuine. However, this private tour in Sabah, perhaps due to less developed tourism resources, focused on islands with less-than-ideal facilities and amenities. Therefore, the food and transportation were essentially no different from a regular group tour, completely failing to showcase the value of a private tour. It's several levels below established tourist destinations like Bali, so I recommend booking this hotel independently and exploring the island on your own.
