The Yecheng Ruins are located in Linzhang County, Handan City, Hebei Province. Historically, the ruins of the capitals of Cao Wei, Hou Zhao, Ran Wei, Qian Yan, Eastern Wei and Northern Qi are composed of two cities, north and south. Yebei City was the capital of the state built by Cao Cao in the ninth year of Jian'an (204). Later Zhao, the Eastern Wei Dynasty, and the Northern Qi Dynasty successively all capitalized on Ye. In the first year of Chengguang (577), the Northern Qi Dynasty fell, and the city declined. Yenan City was built against the southern wall of Yebei City in the first year of Yuanxiang in the Eastern Wei Dynasty (538) and was destroyed in the Sui Dynasty. Yecheng is a city with clear functional divisions and rigorous structure, which embodies the urban construction concept of "planning first, construction later". The unique position of the Yecheng ruins in the history of Chinese urban development has always been one of the concerns of Chinese and foreign historical circles. The ruins of Yecheng are a sample of the construction of ancient capitals in East Asia, and have far-reaching influence on the construction of ancient cities such as Chang'an and Luoyang in China and the construction of ancient capitals in East Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea. In January 2012, the archaeological team of Yecheng discovered a buried pit of Buddha statues near the city wall of Yecheng, Beiwuzhuang, Linzhang County, and unearthed 2,895 stone statues and remnants of the Eastern Wei Dynasty and Northern Qi Dynasty. Burial pit of Buddhist statues.

The new Yinxu Museum officially opened on February 26, 2024. In terms of architectural design, following a global competition, the design by Academician He Jingtang from South China University of Technology was selected. Inspired by the "Shang Hymns" from the Book of Songs, the design features elements such as green wild grass platforms, a grand earth structure, layered depth, and bronze cladding. It emphasizes a green, low-carbon, and sustainable development model, creating a "model of China, a temple of civilization" with cultural connotations and archaeological significance related to the Yin Ruins. Regarding the exhibition layout, the museum focuses on the theme of "The Great Shang Civilization," featuring three permanent exhibitions, four special exhibitions, and one unique immersive digital exhibition. These exhibitions explore various aspects such as Shang Dynasty history, oracle bone studies, archaeological history, and the global influence of Shang civilization. They comprehensively illustrate the flourishing urban civilization, sophisticated ritual and music culture, advanced bronze civilization, brilliant written language, and superior craftsmanship of the Shang Dynasty, vividly presenting its significant role and impact on Chinese civilization and the development of human civilization. In terms of design style, the museum adheres to a solemn and grand aesthetic, extensively utilizing artificial intelligence, multimedia, and other digital technologies. This approach provides new contemporary expressions for artifacts, documents, and oracle bone inscriptions, enhancing the breadth, depth, and precision of the panoramic presentation of Shang civilization. It creates an interactive space between artifacts, history, and digital virtual environments.

I enjoyed a fantastic trip on the first day of National Day, off-peak, during the holiday season! It was my first time at a Fantawild theme park, and I expected it to be just like any other domestic park. I was surprised by how captivating and engaging the show was, showcasing the Chinese culture to its fullest! Nuwa mends the sky, The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, The Charm of the Nine Provinces, The Yellow Millet Dream, Meng Jiangnu, and Crazy Idioms—all excellent shows! Highly recommended! Fantawild National Colors Spring and Autumn was a truly worthwhile experience!

I placed a last-minute order at noon for the afternoon session that same day, and the customer service lady called me instantly to arrange it—so efficient! They even made an exceptional arrangement for Ms. Juanjuan from Quyu Talks; she's incredibly knowledgeable, gave a thorough explanation, and connected the sculptures to other grottoes, styles, and the social and historical context of the time—it was excellent!

The Ye City Ruins, located in Ye Town, Linzhang County, Handan City, Hebei Province, covers a core protected area of 30 square kilometers. It served as the capital of six dynasties: Cao Wei, Later Zhao, Ran Wei, Former Yan, Eastern Wei, and Northern Qi. The Ye City Ruins are rectangular in plan, with an east-west avenue dividing the city into north and south sections. The north section measures approximately 2400 meters east-west and 1700 meters north-south, with seven gates; the south section measures approximately 2800 meters east-west and 3460 meters north-south, with fourteen gates. Ye City, having served as the capital of six dynasties, is the birthplace of ancient Chinese capital city planning and holds significant historical importance in the development of ancient Chinese capital cities, earning it the reputation of being a "model of ancient Chinese capital city architecture." In 1982, the Ye City Ruins were designated as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by the Hebei Provincial People's Government. In January 1988, the Yecheng Ruins were designated as a third batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

This is a terrible place. Even if you're prepared to visit a historical site park based on your imagination, you'll still be disappointed. The park is so poorly maintained that they didn't even bother with signs; all they have is a printed map showing the layout, and the patches of grass are unkempt. The displays are riddled with errors, such as labeling ordinary roof tiles as cloud-patterned roof tiles, and the information panels are all copied and pasted from the internet. It's not even worth 4 yuan, let alone 40 yuan. Many historical sites that are free for elderly women to dance in are better than this. Avoid it.

Compared with the Yecheng Archaeological Museum, the Yecheng Museum is a little bit worse, but the whole museum is quite satisfactory and relatively attentive. After all, the good things are also placed in other museums. What can be left to him may be the continuous restoration and sand table of the ancient monuments.

Surprisingly, it was excellent. Both the exhibits and the contents were very attractive. If you want to see the historical context, I recommend visiting the Erlitou Site in Luoyang first, and then the Yin Ruins Site in Anyang as your second stop. It's outstanding.

A highly recommended museum! Handan boasts a long history, and the museum has four floors. Except for the first floor, which has no exhibition halls, the second to fourth floors showcase history from human ancestors to modern times. It's advisable to check guided tour schedules in advance. The guides are not scripted, making the experience pleasant and engaging! The museum also offers a wide variety of cultural and creative products. If you get tired, there are benches in the corridors where you can rest and enjoy a coffee or milk tea. Unlike museums in other cities, the Handan City Museum closes at 9:00 PM, making it a popular spot for tourists and locals to stroll around!
