Hailong Lake Square: Hailong Lake Square is the main entrance of the Attraction, which consists of the entrance landscape road, central fountain, waterfront plank road and viewing platform. There are two circular music fountains in the center of the square, which can dance to the melody of the music. The viewing platform by the lake is the highest point of the entire Attraction and the best viewing point for viewing the lake view. Hand in Hand Square: As a theme square specially built for wedding ceremonies and wedding photography, it presents a variety of romantic scenes such as wedding lawn, waterside ceremony platform, sea of flowers, kissing stone, etc. It has gradually become a love sanctuary for couples in Meihekou. Plum Blossom Island: There are many special vegetations on the island. Black pine (5 trees), weeping willow (19 trees), wild apricot (45 trees), Beijing peach (54 trees), red thorn plum (74 trees), yellow thorn plum (70 trees), elm leaf plum (403 trees), cold-resistant plum (24 trees) bloom from April to May. At the same time, many rare animals are raised on the island. There are black swans, second-generation wild ducks, grey geese, and egrets. Animals and plants complement each other and form a harmonious whole. Every spring, Plum Blossom Island is a thriving scene. Adding the finishing touch to the beautiful scenery of Hailong Lake. Meixi Wetland: Based on the characteristics of wetland landscape, a stepped cascading water landscape is designed. Various wetland plant communities are planted, and there are plank roads in between, so that visitors can go deep into them and experience the wetland scenery up close. There are lakeside viewing platforms and boat boats on the lakeshore, and there are corridors and pavilions on the lake. The architectural style is simple and elegant, and it contrasts with the sparkling waves on the lake. Then, look at the boat: the simple architectural style echoes the Jinglang and Heyu Pavilion. There is a teahouse called Kunxiang Pavilion inside. You can open the window to see the green water and the waves. You can lean on the railing to see the lake, taste the fragrance of tea, and listen to the music. You can feel the ease and contentment from Hailong Lake. Dutch Pavilion, Quiet Corridor: The pavilion with flying eaves and upturned corners is the Dutch Pavilion, and the Quiet Corridor is connected to the Dutch Pavilion. The Dutch Pavilion was built with inspiration from "Quyuan Fenghe" among the ten scenic spots of West Lake. The structure of the entire building is made of merlot. Merlot is a tropical wood, mainly produced in Malaysia and Indonesia. At the same time, it is also a natural antiseptic wood. Because it is stable, anti-corrosive and insect-proof, it is widely used in outdoor buildings. The entire Quiet Corridor is 64 meters long, and you can enjoy the scenery of Hailong Lake while walking along the Quiet Corridor. Unique, elegant, and ancient are the characteristics of this ingenious corridor. Yanbo Bridge: Yanbo Bridge is built based on the prototype of Yanbo Bridge in Daming Lake. At the same time, because the Meixi Wetland Scenic Attraction has its own characteristics in each season, the scenery in spring and summer is more moving. It can be said that in spring, the lake bank is full of flowers and willows are full of smoke, and in summer, red clothes and green fans reflect the clear waves. The naming of Yanbo Bridge complements the beautiful scenery of our Hailong Lake. Songfeng Square: There are a lot of red pine forests and American red maple trees planted Souvenir the area, and the core area is equipped with basketball courts, volleyball courts, Tai Chi courts and other activity areas. Sports make people healthy, and the pine fragrance is refreshing. Songfeng Square has a beautiful environment, elegant landscape, and high-configuration sports facilities, making it a new sports gathering place for the people of Meicheng. Children's playground: an outdoor play space built around undulating terrain, with children's play facilities such as children's climbing, slope slides, large robot slides, etc. The entire children's activity area is made of EPDM material (ethylene propylene rubber, the most advanced soft paving material at present), allowing children to release their nature while ensuring safety. Beach Bathing Area: The bathing area has four functional areas: multifunctional service area, water recreation area, beach rest area, and leisure Dining area. At the same time, there are Hainan-style leisure facilities on the beach, such as forest thatched houses, beach rattan lounge chairs, etc., which give tourists an extraordinary holiday experience. There are not only beautiful scenery here, but also delicious food. You can enjoy the Unlimited fun of beer and barbecue at the Hailong Lake beach food stalls. The environment here is beautiful, the facilities are complete, the water is clear and the sand is fine. It is a good place for people to escape the summer heat and relax.

Shenyang Imperial Palace

The Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the two fully preserved palace complexes in China. It served as the imperial palace of the Later Jin before the dynasty entered the pass, and after the Qing dynasty moved its capital to Beijing, it was converted into the Shengjing Temporary Palace (also known as the Fengtian Temporary Palace). The palace houses a large collection of court artifacts left over from the former imperial palace, and precious treasures of the Qing court's old collection can be viewed in the various exhibition halls. The entire palace complex is divided into three routes based on architectural layout and construction sequence: the east route features the Dazheng Hall and the Ten Kings Pavilion built during Nurhaci's reign; the central route comprises the inner palace complex expanded during Emperor Taizong of Qing's reign, including the Daqing Gate, Chongzheng Hall, Fenghuang Tower, as well as the Qingning Palace, Guansui Palace, Yanqing Palace, and Yongfu Palace; the west route includes the Wensu Pavilion and other structures added during the Qianlong period. The Daqing Gate is the main gate of the Shenyang Imperial Palace, commonly known as the Wu Gate. It is a five-bay flush gable roof building, with the roof fully covered in glazed tiles and trimmed with green edges. The wall decorations feature protruding sea water and cloud dragon patterns along with various auspicious beasts, exquisitely crafted. The Chongzheng Hall, commonly known as the "Golden Throne Hall," is where Hong Taiji handled daily government affairs and received envoys. Inside the hall are displayed cultural relics such as a gold-lacquered cloud dragon screen, an openwork golden dragon throne, and gilt bronze luduan incense burners. Above the throne hangs a plaque inscribed with "Zhengda Guangming," written personally by Emperor Qianlong, modeled after the plaque written by Emperor Shunzhi in the Palace of Heavenly Purity in Beijing. The Dazheng Hall, commonly known as the "Octagonal Hall," was also called the "Great Hall" or "Dugong Hall" before the Qing entered the pass. It is an important palace built by Nurhaci and the main building on the east route. Before the Qing entered the pass, important ceremonies such as the emperor's enthronement, New Year's Day congratulations, and the Wanshou Festival banquets were held here. In ordinary times, it was used to convene meetings of the Deliberative Council of Princes and Ministers or to promulgate important edicts. Inside the hall are displayed cultural relics such as a golden dragon throne, a gold-lacquered screen, and cloisonné elephant-backed vases, as well as calligraphy left by Kangxi, Qianlong, Jiaqing, and Daoguang during their eastern tours to Shengjing. The Phoenix Tower is located north of the Chongzheng Hall, standing atop the elevated terrace of the inner court. The three-story tower features a hip-and-gable roof with surrounding corridors, covered in yellow glazed tiles with green trim along the edges. "Phoenix Tower at Dawn" and "Viewing the Pagoda from Phoenix Tower" are counted among the Eight Scenes of Shengjing. The tower houses a plaque inscribed with "Purple Mist from the East" in the imperial handwriting of Emperor Qianlong. The Wensu Pavilion was built during the Qianlong era specifically to store the "Complete Library of the Four Treasuries" and serves as the main structure of the western route; the "Complete Collection of Illustrations and Writings from Ancient and Modern Times" was also stored within the pavilion. Its architectural paintings do not use the dragon-and-phoenix motifs commonly found in palaces; instead, they feature themes harmonious with the function of a library, such as "white horse presenting books," with a fresh and elegant color palette that forms a striking contrast with the red-and-gold-dominated exterior decorations of other palaces. This was also the place where Emperor Qianlong read during his eastern inspection tours.

During the National Day holiday, I brought my parents and children to the small town of Meihekou to visit the famous Zhibei Village. When I showed the old houses to the elderly, they were particularly moved. The old objects brought them back a lot of memories.

The publicity of the scenic spot is not small, the scenery is beautiful, the environment is good, the natural scenery is good, and the service attitude is also good. However, because of the need to change paper tickets, the small parking lot also requires temporary parking, which causes congestion, and the parking environment inside the scenic spot also needs to be improved. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Hailong Lake Park is located in the southeast of Meihekou City, Jilin Province, with a total area of 1,636 acres, of which the lake area covers about 700 acres. It is the largest artificial lake in Meihekou City and is known as the "Little West Lake" in Northeast China. The entire scenic area adopts the sponge city design concept, forming a spatial pattern of "one lake, two corridors, three islands, four bridges, and seven districts". It is a happy gathering place integrating ecological sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, sports and fitness, food experience, and health vacation.

The package is very cost-effective, but you have to queue for each item during the holidays, and the experience is a little bit unpleasant.

Ticketing was convenient and quick, the attractions were excellent, and I gained a deep understanding of historical events, experiencing history immersively. By the way, Zhang Shaoshuai's house is really huge! The queue for the Grand Green Building was too long to go in, but I'll go again next time!

Autumn deepens in Shengjing, a century of gentle tranquility awaits at the Shenyang Imperial Palace. My trip to Shengjing in November coincided perfectly with the pleasant season at the Shenyang Imperial Palace. With fewer tourists, there was no need to squeeze through crowds for photos, allowing for a leisurely and relaxed pace. Unlike the grandeur of the Forbidden City in Beijing, this palace outside the Great Wall possesses a unique, simple charm characteristic of the early Qing Dynasty, quiet and captivating in the soft autumn sunlight. Entering through the Great Qing Gate, the hustle and bustle of the city is instantly shut out behind the red walls. The entire tour route is full of surprises; most of the halls are open to the public, allowing visitors to examine the paintings, furnishings, and artifacts inside, rather than just gazing from afar through fences, enabling a more authentic experience of the past. The East Road is its most recognizable section, with the octagonal eaves of the Dazheng Hall, simple yet majestic, and opposite it, the Ten Princes' Pavilions, a vivid testament to the Eight Banners system. The autumn sun slanted across the glazed tiles and blue bricks, casting shifting shadows. Occasionally, a fallen yellow leaf drifted to the edge of the platform, the stillness seeming to whisper of bygone eras. At the heart of the central axis lies the Chongzheng Hall, where Emperor Huang Taiji held court; its painted decorations remain vibrant. The Phoenix Tower stands tall, once the highest point in Shengjing (Mukden), its steps leading to layers of palace courtyards. Architectural details blending Manchu, Han, and Mongolian styles are hidden among the pillars and windows; a closer look reveals hidden gems at every turn. My favorite area was the Wensu Pavilion on the western axis. The courtyard was serene, once a repository of books. Fewer tourists, quiet corridors—perfect for a moment's rest, gazing at the eaves and the blue sky. No noise, only the wind rustling through the courtyard, a gentle sense of history washing over you. The fewer crowds and the abundance of exhibitions were the biggest pluses of this trip. No need to rush; you could linger anywhere, carefully reading the explanations within the halls, slowly capturing the atmosphere of late autumn against the red walls. A leisurely half-day stroll under the red walls of Shengjing in November offers a comfortable and unhurried experience of exploring the past.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.
