ISKCON Temple, Juhu is located near Juhu Beach in Mumbai, India, and spans 4 acres. This magnificent temple was envisioned by its founder, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. After 13 years of arduous struggle, it was officially completed on Makar Sankranti in 1978 and has since become one of Mumbai's most notable spiritual landmarks. It is renowned for its exquisite marble architecture, with a dome more than 100 feet high that is truly majestic. Inside, it houses deities such as Radha-Krishna and Gaura-Nitai. The idols were personally installed by Prabhupada, and the silver-and-wood throne and marble altar convey solemnity and sanctity. As a spiritual oasis in the material city, the complex includes a main temple, a renovated auditorium, a vegetarian restaurant, and a 7-story guest house, offering visitors an immersive spiritual experience. Daily spiritual activities such as morning prayers and scripture readings are held here, and the annual anniversary celebration of Makar Sankranti and the Bhagavad Gita Jayanti are grand events, drawing thousands of devotees. Visitors can experience the strong atmosphere of devotion, taste pure Sattvic vegetarian food and refreshing Thandai drinks, and find inner peace amid the bustling city. From a once-remote plot of land to a beacon of spirituality today, it centers on the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and has become a sanctuary for cultural and spiritual exchange that transcends faith.Mumbai · 6.8 km from downtown

Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai is a fascinating open-air laundromat where hundreds of washermen (dhobis) clean clothes in rows of concrete wash pens. A symbol of Mumbai’s hardworking spirit, it offers a unique glimpse into the city’s traditional laundry system. A must-visit for photographers and culture enthusiasts!

Beautiful florals and gorgeous lighting create a wonderful atmosphere. The temple is well arranged. The only thing missing is the mushak (maybe because it is a festival) the rest is good. Holy and pious, the whole process is very systematic so it is not troublesome even when it is very crowded, it is also very clean, people may need to be a little careful when buying flowers and items for worship as they want to cheat you subtly, negotiate the price beforehand, and also beware of pickpockets.

The seaside is still very spectacular. After passing the famous "Gate of India" in Mumbai, you will see the Indian Ocean. However, India is really dirty, with garbage everywhere on the ground. The sea water is not blue at all, like the Yellow River.

Gandhi National Park is also a very interesting place to visit. The vegetation coverage in this park is very large, and you can see many exquisite plant species. Some of the greenery in the park is also very attractive. It is also nice to come here to play.

The ISKCON temple in Mumbai is a place of incredible beauty and serenity, perfect for a break from the chaos of the city. Besides the tour, I highly recommend the on-site restaurant: the prix fixe buffet is a great opportunity to enjoy fresh, healthy, and truly delicious Indian dishes. A complete experience that combines spirituality and excellent cuisine. Not to be missed!
