Matsushiro Castle, that is, Kaijin Castle, the base camp of the Takeda clan in the Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima, is said to have been built by Kansuke Yamamoto, a one-eyed military. Later, it became the main castle of the Sanada clan of the Matsushiro domain. After the Meiji Restoration evacuated the feudal lords and set up a county, the city was abandoned, and only the Honmaru Ishigaki remained. The Honmaru has been basically restored since 2004, and it is now a designated historic site in Japan. From the existing stone wall, we can see the representative horse path of Dangkoshu Ryuchengchi; at the same time, from the Tianshoutai site, we can see Tzunu Mountain in the distance. Matsushiro Castle is a natural fortress that cleverly utilizes the natural topography of the Qianqu River. Matsushiro Castle is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in mid-April every year and is very lively.Nagano City · 9.1 km from downtown

This is the Kaizu Castle, which is famous in the history of the Warring States Period and Warring States games. However, as the representative city of the Koshu school, the splendor of the Mikazuki Moat is no longer visible. Only the wide horse path still reminds me that this is the city built by Yamamoto Kansuke.

The view from the open-air bath was nice. The breeze made it easy to get in and keep warm. You could add water and enjoy the water without chemicals. Local vegetables were on sale outside.

Nice park, a lot of entertainment, but we happened to go on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded. An upside is that you can buy a pass, which is rather affordable, and it can help you experience more in one day. We bought passes for 2 attractions, and even with them were not able to attend everything, which was a pity, cause we spent most of the day queuing. I guess the situation is different on weekdays.
