Maqu Hot Spring is located in the mountainous part of the Maqu River and in the Maqu Hot Spring Park. Sensō-ji
One of Tokyo's oldest and most significant Buddhist temples, Sensō-ji is located in the city's Asakusa District. Dedicated to the Bodhisattva of compassion, the first temple was founded as far back as 645 CE. Destroyed during World War II, Sensō-ji was eventually rebuilt and stands now as a symbol of rebirth and peace. Many small shops line the main street approaching the temple. Nice park, a lot of entertainment, but we happened to go on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded. An upside is that you can buy a pass, which is rather affordable, and it can help you experience more in one day. We bought passes for 2 attractions, and even with them were not able to attend everything, which was a pity, cause we spent most of the day queuing. I guess the situation is different on weekdays.

It's a very fun place and worth a visit. I went there with my family during Christmas in the winter of 2024. The snow scenery was beautiful, and I saw the legendary cute monkeys soaking in hot springs in the snow-capped mountains!

It all depends on your photography equipment; good photo spots still require a fee. Asia's largest financial center. Ascending is done in batches at set times, so there's almost no waiting, which is great.
The elevator lights and music sound like alien language, and it even caused a slight ringing in my ears.

Yes, it gets extremely crowded (especially weekends, holidays, and peak midday hours), but that energy is part of its charm for many. Go early or late and the experience becomes almost serene.
