Danxia Mountain boasts beautiful scenery, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and reasonable prices. It's definitely worth a visit for hiking enthusiasts!

A weekend trip to a suburban ranch was far more enjoyable than expected. The ranch was impeccably maintained, the grass was soft, and a large basket of lamb feed cost ten yuan. The lambs would gently nuzzle you when you wanted food, they were incredibly affectionate. The horse handlers were very patient, leading the horses slowly around the ranch, allowing you to see the entire hillside covered in wildflowers, without rushing you. Xianglong Lake is located on the south side of Changlao Peak. It has a dragon head, dragon horns, dragon body, dragon claws and dragon tail, so it is named Xianglong Lake. The total length from the dragon head to the dragon tail is 1,350 meters, and the water depth is 18 meters. If you take a small boat, you can explore the secluded scenery in the blue waves and listen to the gurgling sound of the spring like a dragon's roar, which will naturally give rise to reverie and make you feel relieved. The surrounding mountains and cliffs and the lake water form a natural picture of red mountains and clear waters. The beautiful figure of Danxia Mountain is reflected on the lake surface as blue as a jade plate. The natural landscapes include three streams, six gorges, nine caves and eighteen peaks. The tour time is two hours.

When I visited Danxia Mountain, the cable car was under maintenance, so I could only explore the Elder Peak scenic area on foot. The ascent involved a steep, almost precipitous, ladder-like climb. Along the way, there were cliff carvings. Reaching the summit offered a magnificent panoramic view of the Danxia peaks.

The scenery is nice. I went camping on May Day and it was very comfortable. The rafting was not very exciting. It ran aground halfway and had to be pushed off the boat. The train was very slow, about the same speed as walking. The cable car was OK, but the route was very long.
