Longmu Temple
Tengxian Longmu Temple is a temple in the Xijiang River Basin with the same name as Guangdong Yuecheng Longmu Temple and Guangxi Wuzhou Longmu Temple (Longmu Taimiao). Shengxi Village, located under the Xijiang Bridge in Tengxian County, Guangxi, can be reached via the second-level road from Nanning to Wuzhou to the county seat. It is the birthplace of the legendary dragon mother, the protector of the ancient Xijiang River. The Northern Song Dynasty "Taiping Huanyu Ji" once described the location of the Longmu Temple in Tengxian County. it was rebuilt by the people in 1994, and there are cultural relics such as the seal of the Dragon Mother Temple, a snake and a lion-faced beast, a lotus column pier, and an incense burner carved with the font of "Dragon Mother". Tengxian County is one of the birthplaces of Xijiang culture. Hulongtan, Longjing, Huilongzhou, Longtan Gorge, Longwan, Longxiang Terrace, Shilong and Longxiang are related to the dragon mother and the legend of the dragon mother believed in the Xijiang River Basin and even in Southeast Asia. The village has been recorded in the "Tengxian Chronicles" of all dynasties. The Elephant Hill Scenic Area is located in the heart of Guilin, at the confluence of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River. It derives its name from its resemblance to a giant elephant stretching its trunk to drink from the sweet waters of the Li River. In his work "Records of Elephant Hill," Shu Shu, a Qing Dynasty official from the Ministry of Works, wrote: "The marvels of Guangxi lie in its mountains; the marvels of Guangxi's mountains lie in their rocks, and the elephant-shaped hill facing the provincial capital is the most marvelous of all." With its lifelike form, the attraction captivates visitors and stands as a quintessential representation of Guilin's landscape. In 1995, it was designated as the city emblem of Guilin. Shibiao Mountain is located in Daojia Village, Xiangqi Town, Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province, covering an area of 15.8 square kilometers. It is now a national 4A-level scenic spot. The scenic area has the remains of post stations established by successive dynasties since the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Siluo River rafting, Daojia Beach Beiliu River, city wall-like red cliffs, forehead-shaped rock corridors, quaint villages and pastoral scenery.

Upon entering the temple, an air of ancient elegance washed over me. The architecture, with its antique charm, soaring eaves, carved beams, and painted rafters, exudes a solemnity and mystery. Inside the main hall, the statue of the Dragon Mother stands dignified and kind, her gaze gentle, as if silently protecting the land. Incense curls upward, filling the air with a reverent atmosphere. I carefully examined the murals depicting the legend of the Dragon Mother on the walls. The vivid images transported me back to ancient times, witnessing the legendary story of the Dragon Mother. Surrounding the temple, lush greenery, birdsong, and fragrant flowers, a gentle breeze rustling leaves, adding a touch of tranquility to this sacred place. Visitors paused to admire or whisper to each other, their faces filled with reverence and joy. This visit to the Dragon Mother Temple has allowed me to experience the charm and profound heritage of traditional culture and deepen my understanding of the legend of the Dragon Mother. It felt like a spiritual cleansing, a profound harvest.

My family had a wonderful time at the Guangzhou Chimelong tourist resort!! Our kids love the Guangzhou chimelong Safari park as they love animals and the safari has a wide variety of animals. The cable car, mini train are really convenient for visitors! We were impressed by the Chimelong international circus performance at night. Also my kids had lotsa fun at Happy world themepark rides! Overall it is a wonderful and satisfying trip!

This 5A-rated park offers unbeatable value for money; at only 20 yuan per person, it's definitely worth a visit. It's such a great deal! Each area is uniquely beautiful. Families with children will also enjoy it. Because the park is quite large, I recommend taking the mini-train for a more relaxed and less tiring experience.

The Water Moon Cave cuts through the mountain, its reflection shimmering in the water, creating the famous Elephant Trunk Hill and Water Moon spectacle—a flowing ink painting.
The scenic area is clean and comfortable, with walking paths built along the Li River, shaded by lush trees, making for a delightful stroll. A very nice guesthouse with modern and stylish room decor. Clean and hygienic. The view is also excellent; you can see the terraced fields across the river from your room. Worth a stay. The food is also quite good, and parking is very convenient.
