Following the guide through the Henan Museum, despite the crowds, it wasn't noisy at all. From the Jiahu bone flute dating back 9,000 years to the Fu Hao owl-shaped bronze vessel, the cloud-patterned bronze vessel, and the Four Gods and Clouds painting… the guide recounted historical anecdotes and detailed accounts, mentioning things like the lost-wax casting method, Wu Zetian's invention of characters, and the female general Fu Hao. We were captivated. The two-plus hours flew by, and the thousands of years of Central China seemed to be strung together like a thread. It turns out that the names in history textbooks are truly buried in the land beneath our feet. I'll definitely come again next time, but I'll have to avoid the weekends 😄
