Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Capilano Suspension BridgeLocated in North Vancouver, the 137-meter-long suspension bridge is suspended 70 meters in the air. It is one of the highest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world. More than 100 years ago, it was built by local aborigines using hemp ropes and thick wooden planks. Under the bridge is the fast-flowing Capilano River. When the wind blows through the valley, the suspension bridge sways and makes a sound that sounds like a person's laughter, so it is also called the "Laughing Bridge." 1. Natural scenery The suspension bridge spans the Capilano River and a large area of dense forest. Walking on the suspension bridge, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of the forest, but also have a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the nearby river valley. You are completely surrounded by nature. If you are lucky, you can also see the gorgeous rainbow caused by the river water vapor. 2. Adventure Experience Cliff Walk: A glass walkway is built between vertical cliffs. There is a deep abyss under your feet, and looking out at the distant scenery from above becomes a thrilling experience. Treetop Adventure: A road is connected by iron ropes and wooden planks halfway up a giant tree, dozens of meters above the ground. You can feel the breath of nature in the forest. 3. History and Culture Near the suspension bridge stands a totem pole representing the culture of Canada's "First Nations" Aboriginal Indians, which is worth stopping to take a look. In the carved wooden house near the store, you can also see Indian carvers demonstrating their carving skills.North Vancouver · 3.9 km from West Vancouver

Located in Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is known as the "Top of Vancouver" and is only 15 minutes' drive from the city center. This is a paradise for outdoor sportsmen. It is suitable for hiking in summer, and you can enjoy the beautiful skyline of Vancouver. 1. Play experience There is a platform built on Grouse Mountain, and there are humorous lumberjack performances and wonderful eagle training performances every day. There is a small grizzly bear sanctuary nearby, which attracts people every day. Here, grizzly bears live completely in a natural ecological environment. Because they are raised by breeders, they are not aggressive and can be close-up. Observe and appreciate. 2. Skiing experience Grouse Mountain divides 25 slopes into ski runs of different levels of difficulty. Among them, the popular Cut Slope is favored by skilful skiers. All 13 ski slopes provide night lighting. Skiing can also enjoy the bright night view of Vancouver. 3. Cable car experience Grouse Mountain has the largest cable car in North America, SkyRide. On the way to the top of the mountain, you can slowly climb 900 meters. There are beautiful mountain views. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can overlook the panoramic view of Vancouver. The fast ropeway and wind eye project are even more popular with adventurers. You can go directly to the 20-story wind power tower through the elevator, and experience the visual feast of standing on the "top of Vancouver".North Vancouver · 8.7 km from West Vancouver

Decorations were on point but the overall experience was pretty lacklustre. Nothing particularly interesting about the Capilano Suspension Bridge - it’s just a bridge and a park. Wouldn’t say it’s very value-for-money.

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?

Many hotels flaunt their "high-end" status, but this one hides its "thoughtfulness" in every unseen corner. The corridor carpet is short-pile, making no sound underfoot and ensuring guests in the adjacent rooms aren't disturbed. The glasses in the rooms are placed upside down on clean cotton mats, not in cheap plastic sleeves, and have a faint, sterilized scent. The minibar drinks don't feature expensive imported brands, but rather refreshing local beverages, all free of charge with no hidden costs. In the morning, sitting on the terrace, the air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees, and complimentary cool boiled water is on a small table, each cup covered with a small dust cap. There are no grand surprises, but every detail is meticulously crafted, understated yet instantly warming your heart. This is a hotel that truly understands the meaning of accommodation.

Gastown has many pretty stores and cafes.but there are lots of homeless wandering around this area. Don’t walk around at late night. When you keep following down the Water street, you can see the steam clock and lots of designer’s stores and beautiful brunch cafes.

It is really a once-in-a-lifetime train experience. In September 2019, the weather in Canada was very suitable. It was amazing to take a train and experience the colorful mountains. The train company held a grand farewell ceremony before departure for the train at Vancouver Railway Station. This gave me a pleasant surprise. Not only did the train have Chinese service staff to introduce the scenery along the way, but there was also a food experience. Sitting on the train and looking at the scenery of the Rocky Mountains and eating Michelin meals, it really can't be described in words. The ticket price is indeed not cheap. I was a little hesitant before booking, but after the experience, I felt that the money was worth it. Also, I thought it would be boring on the train before leaving, but I didn't expect there were still a lot of activities. I couldn't stop taking pictures, especially the glass dome, which was like watching an IMAX blockbuster. Soon the wonderful day passed. The Queen's favorite train is indeed well-deserved, making my wife and I feel very noble. . .

Grouse Mountain is a famous ski resort, but it is worth visiting in the summer. The mountain is not particularly high. There are lush greenery and birds singing everywhere. The commercial facilities here are also very good and the transportation is convenient.

I can’t say enough about this gorgeous Island Canada has to offer. Granville Island is a peninsula and shopping center in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, across from False Creek.
