Sea To Sky Highway is the section of British Columbia Highway 99 that runs north from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Lillooet, and is also the main route from Vancouver to the ski resort of Whistler. On one side, it hugs the blue waters of Howe Sound, while on the other, it is flanked by the steep, verdant peaks of the Coast Mountains, climbing from the coast into the heart of the snowy mountains. The route connects small towns such as Squamish and Pemberton, with bays, forests, lakes, and waterfalls alternating along the way, offering a concentrated display of the coastal mountain scenery of British Columbia.West Vancouver · 81.9 km from Whistler

Located in Cougar Mountain, about 15 minutes north of Whistler, Whistler's SuperflyZiplines feature a revolutionary braking system for a smooth zipline experience. There are four flights in total, the longer one has a distance of 1.2 kilometers and a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour. The fun is the third section, the angle of the zipline is very tricky, like falling into the endless forest. This program requires an appointment at the Customer Service Center in advance. Speeding through Whistler's ancient rainforests and canyons, SuperflyZiplines presents another side of Whistler's deep jungle. In addition to ziplining, visitors can experience Whistler's Treetop AdventureCourse in the mountains, a family-friendly activity for all ages.Whistler · 6.7 km from downtown

Rather than calling Lost Lake a tourist attraction, it is more appropriate to call it a leisure attraction. In summer, Lost Lake is lush with greenery and is suitable for taking the family here for a walk, jogging, picnics and other outdoor activities. It can be said to be a representative of the Canadian environment, with lakes and mountains, quiet and fresh, and maintains the original natural style. Lost Lake is one of the five lakes in Whistler that is closer to the main village of Whistler and can be reached in a 15-minute walk from the main village. In summer, Lost Lake is lush with greenery, crisscrossed by hiking and off-road biking trails. Lost Lake in winter turns into a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing paradise.Whistler · 1.8 km from downtown

Capilano Suspension BridgeLocated in North Vancouver, the 137-meter-long suspension bridge is suspended 70 meters in the air. It is one of the highest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world. More than 100 years ago, it was built by local aborigines using hemp ropes and thick wooden planks. Under the bridge is the fast-flowing Capilano River. When the wind blows through the valley, the suspension bridge sways and makes a sound that sounds like a person's laughter, so it is also called the "Laughing Bridge." 1. Natural scenery The suspension bridge spans the Capilano River and a large area of dense forest. Walking on the suspension bridge, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of the forest, but also have a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the nearby river valley. You are completely surrounded by nature. If you are lucky, you can also see the gorgeous rainbow caused by the river water vapor. 2. Adventure Experience Cliff Walk: A glass walkway is built between vertical cliffs. There is a deep abyss under your feet, and looking out at the distant scenery from above becomes a thrilling experience. Treetop Adventure: A road is connected by iron ropes and wooden planks halfway up a giant tree, dozens of meters above the ground. You can feel the breath of nature in the forest. 3. History and Culture Near the suspension bridge stands a totem pole representing the culture of Canada's "First Nations" Aboriginal Indians, which is worth stopping to take a look. In the carved wooden house near the store, you can also see Indian carvers demonstrating their carving skills.North Vancouver · 86.7 km from Whistler

Within, the complex serves as a major cruise terminal for British Columbia's South Shore, departing from here for cruises to Alaska. The Haitian Highway is also a very interesting complex of buildings here. Some of the facilities on the highway are also quite fun to visit. The Haitian Highway is also an option for self-driving tours. When the weather is good, the view is also very beautiful.

We actually enjoyed this place the most. Not only the weather was kind to us, we were there early so it was not very crowded. The crowd started to build up significantly when we crossed back the bridge. The tickets are not cheap but definitely worth it.

On the way back to Vancouver from Whistler, we stopped by Brandy Falls Provincial Park. The park is right next to the Sea-to-Sky Highway, about a 20-minute drive south from Whistler. The parking lot is large and parking is easy. The trail from the parking lot to the falls is well-maintained and easy to walk, taking about ten minutes to reach the viewpoint. The falls are 70 meters high, cascading down the volcanic rock face, creating a refreshing mist that cools you down when you stand on the viewpoint. You can also see Lake Daisy and Black Tooth Mountain in the distance. The park is free, which is a great feature. Overall, this place is a good stop on the Sea-to-Sky Highway. You can see nice scenery without walking too much, making it ideal for a less strenuous trip. It might not be worth making a special trip, but stopping to stretch your legs and see the falls is quite nice if you're passing by.

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?

Many hotels flaunt their "high-end" status, but this one hides its "thoughtfulness" in every unseen corner. The corridor carpet is short-pile, making no sound underfoot and ensuring guests in the adjacent rooms aren't disturbed. The glasses in the rooms are placed upside down on clean cotton mats, not in cheap plastic sleeves, and have a faint, sterilized scent. The minibar drinks don't feature expensive imported brands, but rather refreshing local beverages, all free of charge with no hidden costs. In the morning, sitting on the terrace, the air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees, and complimentary cool boiled water is on a small table, each cup covered with a small dust cap. There are no grand surprises, but every detail is meticulously crafted, understated yet instantly warming your heart. This is a hotel that truly understands the meaning of accommodation.
