Jiulongji Waterfall
Jiulongjian Waterfall is located 13 kilometers southeast of Zhouning County. Longjiang River falls layer by layer between dangerous cliffs, forming a nine-level waterfall group with a drop of nearly 300 meters. Wuyishan National Park
Wuyishan National Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyishan mountain range in northwestern Fujian, stretching across the border area between Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. For more time, consider visiting the ancient tea merchants' residences in Xiamei Village, the starting point of the ancient Tea Horse Road, or exploring the ruins of the Minyue King's City near Chengcun Village—the latter also being part of Wuyishan's world heritage site. Bamboo rafting is very popular, so please make arrangements in advance during peak season. It was quite nice to go in the summer; the waterfall was really big and interesting. However, it's inconvenient that you can't buy one-way tickets for the shuttle bus. But Zhouning isn't too hot, so walking around and breathing in the mountain air is nice.

Zhouning is really cool, they said they don't need to buy air conditioners. It seems to be true, there is no air conditioner in the dining area and the accommodation area. The road is being built in Liyuxi, which scared away the carp, so there are no carp. Yunshan Town is a half-developed hotel + villa project, but there is a good reservoir for free.

Pingnan is truly a wonderful place. Yuanyangxi and Baishuiyang were both rated 5A-level scenic spots. The former offers stunning mountain and water views, while the latter provides opportunities for hiking and water activities, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of nature.
Yuanyangxi is a bit further from Shuangxi Town than Baishuiyang. It's a large canyon, and wandering through it, you can truly appreciate the charm of nature.
The initial entrance to the scenic area is at the top of the canyon. Be sure to visit the viewing platform; it offers a panoramic view of Yuanyangxi, making the extra few hundred meters worthwhile. Then, follow the mountain path down to the valley floor. Here, you'll find numerous streams and waterfalls, as well as cliffs and uniquely shaped rocks—a continuous stream of beautiful scenery.
My last stop was Baizhangji-Shuiliandong (Water Curtain Cave). The waterfall cascades down from the mountaintop, crashing into the pool below, creating a truly enchanting scene. I took a shortcut here, taking the mountain elevator directly to the top. The walk to the exit is only a few hundred meters, but the elevator ascends 120 meters, saving me over a thousand steps and conserving energy for the rest of the trip.

Walking in the mountains and forests, the first half of the terrain is gentle and basically flat. Although the second half is all steps, there will be a gentle slope after a short walk, so it is not very tiring. Moreover, the protection facilities of the scenic spot are very well done. In addition to the railings, a layer of rope nets will be added. It coincides with the cooling and rainfall. There are few tourists in the entire scenic spot. It is almost a private treatment. The eyes are full of lush green, and then kiss the moist air with the fragrance of soil and green leaves. The experience is full, and it is 100% worth a visit!

Huangling is a rather unique scenic area, offering views of 500-year-old Hui-style architecture nestled in the valley, perfect for taking photos. It has its own charm on sunny and rainy days. However, it currently feels quite commercialized, with some of the ancient buildings being renovated, which has diminished their original character. The Huaxi Water Street also feels somewhat artificial. The service at the coffee shop was rather average, with staff not being particularly enthusiastic, but since we were already there, what more could we ask for? Just having fun is what matters.

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.
