3-Star Hotels in Nova Scotia, Canada

The hotel is very close to the airport. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The room was clean. Staff was friendly and check in was really quick. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Room was clean, dated, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and coming from someone with several lifelong injuries, that's a ig deal. I actually was able to sleep decently. The food in the Hotel's restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only problem was that there was a mouse that was roaming the dining area. The server apologized and tried to assure me that the hotel has pest control coming in weekly. While a good thing, it didn't give me immediate satisfaction. Used to be that a hotel would make compensation of some kind. Non was offered. But again, the food was terrific and reasonably priced given the location... but, the mice issue is a problem for me.

Only after checking in did we realize that most of the hotel rooms were under renovation. There was a strong smell of paint, and we barely saw any other guests during our stay. It didn't feel like we were in a hotel, yet the price wasn't cheap. The heating in the room was also problematic; it felt even colder when on, like cold air was blowing, which made us all catch colds. The front desk staff were very helpful though, providing extra blankets for each of us. Due to the renovations, we couldn't enjoy any of the hotel's facilities. On the bright side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views there are fantastic.

Had a great stay at Hilton Halifax Harbour. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The shuttle service to the airport was very helpful and made things easy. Would definitely recommend!

First, the breakfast was spectacular. Getting omlettes made to order is always a good thing! And the service staff were top notch. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The only issue, which may have been our room only, was that the cold water and hot water feeds in the shower were reversed. This could be potentially dangerous if someone were to crank the shower to full cold, as many of us do at the end of a shower. Instead of cold water, you would be scalded by very hot water. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said they would address the issue.

Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning. We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm. Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design! Miller House is a beautiful place to stay in a great location downtown Mahone Bay. Very walkable to shops , galleries and restaurants. Lovely Rail Trail nearby where we biked 10km to Lunenburg. Margaret was so welcoming, friendly and had great suggestions on what to do in the area. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was close by and never a problem. Breakfast was delicious with coffee, fresh fruit, breads, muffins, croissant, yogurt, granola and eggs if you wish. Chevy, the sweet pup was fun to have around. À notre arrivée nous trouvions l’hôtel vieillot dans le hall d’accueil mais nous avons été agréablement surpris à l’arrivée de notre chambre. Tout était propre, grand et confortable. Frigo relativement grand pour un hôtel, il y avait un peu de couvert et un micro-ondes pour se préparer des petits en-cas . Personnel très accueillant et sympathique Le seul petit bémol était le parking le 1 er jour mais nous avons eu de la place durant les 2 nuits . Les alentours de l’hôtel semblait peu agréable en arrivant de nuit mais finalement le matin nous avons vu que nous étions tout proche d’une grande balade au bord de l’eau avec à activités nautiques

For the first hotel that is outside the Francophone sphere for my trip, I would rate 6 to 7 stars or even higher.

I have never stayed in such a speechless hotel... I stayed for a total of six days. The fire alarm went off three mornings, whether it was weekends or weekdays, and each time it was around nine o'clock... The fire alarm lasted for 20 minutes, and the hotel did not have any explanation, just saying it was a false fire alarm. I don't believe that there could be three false fire alarms in six days? ? ? The hotel does not care about the rest and sleep of the customers at all. The time of each alarm was almost the same, and it went off every other day, as if it was intentional. In addition, I also found in Google reviews that the fire alarm went off frequently and lasted for a long time. So don't book this hotel if you can. The room is very small and not very quiet. The bar downstairs lasts until about two in the morning on weekends, which is extremely noisy. A deposit of 20 Canadian dollars is collected every night
