I specifically booked the room because of the large floor to ceiling window. I was initially put in a room with super small windows, quite dark and I had to ask for the room I actually booked. Unfortunately there is a massive building and construction site right in of window! So, despite the room being really nice and comfortable, in that specific topic, the pictures are quite misleading overall. There was not so much noise from the construction, but the ”mountain view is sideways. The location is super convenient. The bus line 17 stops few meters from the hotel and connects to the high speed station. The cable to the mountain is just a couple of minutes walking distance. 1 person of the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and does everything to give you information and help. The other one doesn't speak a word of English, struggles to use translator app but also puts no effort. It was really hard to communicate. The restaurants below the hotel are good.

The B&B is newly renovated, and all the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and amenities are brand new and odorless, which gave us great peace of mind traveling with family. Its location just above Feng Bridge makes it super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The service was excellent; they even came to the roadside to wait for us. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the entrance of Taiping Street and close to the subway station. However, the cobblestone streets of Taiping Street aren't ideal for dragging luggage, but thankfully it's not a long distance, so it wasn't a major issue! The hotel felt very clean, and the bed, duvet, and pillows were all super comfortable. The shower was spacious with great water pressure, and the hot water was consistently hot. While the rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy during the day, it's very quiet at night, so it didn't disturb our sleep. Plus, there are plenty of food and drink options conveniently located downstairs!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner is exceptionally kind, warm, and incredibly helpful, especially for travelers who are unfamiliar with Zhangjiajie. They went above and beyond to provide us with useful travel tips and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The service was truly outstanding, exceeding our expectations in every way. The location is also perfect, very strategic and convenient for exploring the main attractions in Zhangjiajie. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

The location is literally 800m from the cable car entrance to Tianmen Mountain. The moment you step out of the elevator on the 13th floor, the ambiance and smell are divine. It feels like another world. You get a little welcome basket and bag with little snacks, fruits, cleansing products, heated eye masks and pain patches. Indispensable. The rooms are spotless, modern and really spacious. My first time seeing the USB C port on the wall. There is a ton of construction and the neighbours are noisy but they already tell you that. They kindly provided 2 sets of ear plugs for the noise. Also the lady at the reception is so kind and so happy to help. I had a splitting headache when I arrived because I had forgotten to take my allergy medicine and she helpfully directed me to a pharmacy, literally 200m away. Also she was so kind throughout the stay whenever she saw me, she had a kind and lovely smile. As a solo female traveller, this is something that is always welcome and I really, really appreciate. Makes you feel just that little bit safer. Although China is super safe. Oh and the bathroom, along with all the single use amenities, had a little packet of feminine products. I have never had something like that anywhere and it was such a lovely detail.

This guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! You can even go swimming here in the summer. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. Most importantly, the location is fantastic – it's close to all the main attractions, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There's even a pharmacy across the street and a store similar to MINISO right next door.

The room facilities were good, the service was excellent, and the place was clean and tidy. The location was great with many restaurants nearby, and there was free parking. The front desk offered complimentary candy and tea. The hot water in the room was superb, and the bathroom had a smart toilet. The room also had a large projector for watching movies. CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

JJames04The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night).

GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean overall, and the room was tidied up perfectly. The bedding was neat and odorless, and there were no water stains or smudges in the bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. All the facilities worked properly; the air conditioning and hot water were both excellent, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff were super nice, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The environment was quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

GGuest UserStaying at Xifu Bay near the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance was an absolutely amazing experience during my trip! The owner converted their own home into this guesthouse, and it's incredibly clean and tidy, with no strange odors whatsoever. The decor is modern and comfortable, and the smart amenities in the room made my stay so convenient and hassle-free. The two owners are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home, like staying with relatives. The whole family is warm and genuine, providing thoughtful service without being intrusive, which made me feel really comfortable and cared for. After my first night, I felt like I hadn't fully explored Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, so I canceled my original plans to go to Changsha. After visiting Tianmen Mountain Park the next day, I decisively chose to come back and stay here again. I truly stand by this place! It offers great value for money, a comfortable stay, and wonderful owners. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park!

SShengzhewuxinThis was my third trip to Zhangjiajie, and after visiting the bustling East and South gates before, I decided to enter through the West gate this time. This guesthouse is absolutely a hidden gem nestled within the mountains and rivers of Zhangjiajie, offering the most healing and immersive nature experience I've ever had. The guesthouse is located inside the West Gate scenic area, right next to Xiangzi Stream. To check in, you first cross a covered bridge, with the clear, gentle sounds of the babbling stream all around – just listening to it is incredibly therapeutic. You could easily spend a long time just daydreaming on that bridge. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh and moist. There's no noisy crowd, just the chirping of birds and the accompanying stream, truly making you feel like you're living within the scenery. It's very friendly for self-driving tourists. You can drive your car directly into the scenic area. Just contact the owner in advance, and they'll come out to greet you, guide you to parking, and even have charging piles available. It's about a 500-meter walk to the Yangjiajie cable car, so getting up a bit early allows you to get ahead of the crowds. A quick start often leads to a quick journey overall, helping you avoid the throngs in the evening. I absolutely must give a special shout-out to the landlady. She is incredibly warm and thoughtful. I learned through conversation that she used to be an executive at an international five-star hotel brand. Because of this, the guesthouse exudes professionalism and refinement, from its service to its amenities. The bedding (the same kind used in Grand Hyatt hotels), towels, and toiletries are all configured to five-star hotel standards, offering a soft and comfortable feel. The mattress, in particular, is perfectly balanced – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. Combined with the quiet surroundings and falling asleep to the sound of Xiangzi Stream, my sleep quality was superb, and all my travel fatigue was relieved in just one night. The guesthouse is relatively new, so all the facilities are pristine and well-maintained, clean, tidy, and stylish. I highly recommend room 101, a stilt house (with a 270-degree mountain view). The view is absolutely stunning; opening the window reveals lush green mountains and a flowing stream, with distant mountains and nearby water all within sight, providing an unparalleled viewing experience. Nearby, you can pick fresh wild vegetables and organic vegetables grown on-site. They are picked fresh from the fields, ensuring tender, pollution-free ingredients. The guesthouse also provides a kitchen for guests to use, so you can cook the wild vegetables and organic produce you've picked into homemade dishes, savoring the fresh and natural taste. During leisure time, the owner also prepares high-quality mulberry tea and coffee beans. Sipping tea by a fireside in the courtyard, admiring the mountain views, and listening to the murmuring stream – these slow-paced moments are incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It's truly the life one dreams of. It's perfectly suited for an extended stay.

XXiaoqinglongbushichongLocation: The hotel is located in the old town commercial area of Zhangjiajie, surrounded by many malls and restaurants. From a living environment and convenience perspective, it deserves a high rating.👍 Facilities: The shower gets a perfect score of 100! 💯 The super large showerhead made showering incredibly comfortable, washing away a whole day's fatigue. The bed was also very cozy; a great experience! 🙏 Service: The front desk staff (both male and female) deserve a perfect score of 100! 💯 Check-in was super fast, and I even received a small gift upon arrival. When I came down for breakfast and realized I forgot my room card, they immediately issued a new one for me. They also gave me popcorn bags to pack some food for my family in the room, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The rice noodles for breakfast weren't good; I should have ordered the noodles like other guests. My mistake! However, the egg wine was superb; I highly recommend everyone try it! 🥰🥰 Cleanliness: Very clean, nothing to complain about. The room also provided laundry detergent, so I could wash socks and such. If you need to do laundry, the hotel offers a free laundry service, which is super convenient. This is a hidden gem of a hotel, and I'll definitely come back next time. Highly recommended to everyone! ❤️ Best wishes.

GGuest UserBest hotel ever. 1. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The bed was also comfortable. 2. Amazing view (see photo attached)! 😍 3. The staff was very kind and helpful. The receptionist organized our 3 day trip free of charge and he did an amazing job (fast entries, not too crowded, everything was smooth), he saved us a lot of time and even explained the plan perfectly. They were available on wechat and replied very fast 😁 4. We destroyed our hair dryer and they gave us a new one without making us feel bad or even compensate for it. 5. The location is amazing, near the river, center of a city and even park entry (10-15 min walk) Do not hesitate and stay here ☺️

GGuest UserThe room was very clean. There's also a self-service washing machine and dryer on the fourth floor. The soundproofing could be better, and the 'stargazing room' effect wasn't great, though most people probably aren't booking it for that. Overall, it's pretty good, and it's not far from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

MM16192****This has to be the most surprisingly excellent B&B I've ever stayed in. My entire stay was very satisfying. **Facilities**: Smart home features throughout, 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, toiletries, bedding, and all amenities are a cut above even mid-range hotels. **Cleanliness**: Extremely neat and clean. **Environment**: The view outside the window is also great. There's a stream opposite, said to be a downstream section of Jinbian Stream. The back street has many restaurants, and there are several popular '网红' (influencer-favorite) restaurants within 1-2 kilometers. I recommend '大队老渔村' (Dadui Old Fishing Village). **Service**: This is where it truly outshines many other B&Bs. The owner even personally drives you to the train station, and the proprietress is incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very rich and plentiful.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are complete, the front desk staff are very helpful, and the cleaning aunties are also very polite and greet everyone they see. The hotel even offers a complimentary 'goodnight porridge' service in the evenings, and the porridge tastes pretty good. The hotel's location is also excellent, with a subway station downstairs, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Changsha-style rice noodles are delicious and definitely worth trying. The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with smart home appliances, perfect for modern young travelers. There's also a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the breeze in the evening – it's really pleasant. It's close to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, so the atmosphere is lively and the whole experience is fantastic!
