Unfortunately my 2 night experience was not particularly great.
On arrival, my room had supposedly been cleaned. However, there was a dirty beer glass on the uncleaned side table and a towel with a blood stain on it. It was very late so I mentioned this the next morning. The staff were very apologetic and said they’d speak to housekeeping and gave me a voucher for a free drink/snack. I then sat down to breakfast and found a huge hair in my bacon!!
I complained again. The staff member said…”you’re not having a good day are you”.
I was running an event during the day. When I returned, the room had again been cleaned but the beer glass was still there!
The staff I dealt with were great but this is really unacceptable for a hotel chain like this.
It will definitely be a while until I choose to stay at a Holiday Inn again.
This is actually a BB, and the free parking lot is just on the side of the road. Open the house by yourself, the boss will email you the house number in advance, and then secretly pick up the key at the door. We just ran into the boss. He saw that we were bringing children. He said that the hotel’s policy does not allow children to be added. Children are counted as heads. Later, we were allowed to live. He said that this would not be the case in the future. He was still talkative and did not add any more. money. The bed in the room is relatively small, the toilet is relatively small, the standard English breakfast. Less than 10 minutes walk to the city center, not bad.
I had a pleasant stay at Maiden City Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the local attractions and surrounding area.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests.
The room was clean, comfortable.
Breakfast was served in a continental style.
The owner of this accommodation is a humble, outgoing, and friendly gentleman,. Location is super convenient for tourists as the Artillery Street entrance to the wall is within 5 meters. The room space is enough that all facilities are installed in an organized manner. Sockets, TV, kettle, tee bag, coffee powder, milk, tea cup and glass are available. Bathroom is modernly designed and clean. Shampoo, body wash, and hand wash are provided by the owner.
Excellent service, excellent breakfast and very comfortable beds. 2min from the city... Definitely return again, make sure to grab a pint or two in the bar next door👍👍
It would be nice if they would also put even 1 bottle of water. And have some toothbrush even if the guess will pay. However overall is good the cleanliness the the bed is very comfortable.

GGuest UserThere is no reception to pick up the key to the room we had to call the number given in the email , the key was to pick up in the shoe shop , the average room and the cleanliness of the room , in the booking was written breakfast for two people it turned out to be shared a kitchen annex where there was a bouquet of bread, a bottle of jam and fresh fruit, bananas and oranges and it was this breakfast that you need to prepare yourself , in the refrigerator was the butter overdue with the signs of the flesh object no parking available , You have to park on the street and pay , the first night when we returned to 23.00 to the apartment heating in the room didn't work and it was cold although we set the thermostat on the full heater was cold , The next day taking a shower for a while was warm after which it was flying cold (ice) and it was hard to finish the bath , we had two nights but unfortunately the second night we were not there for the night , we left the apartment a few hours before check-in , The only plus that there are nearby pedestrian shops.
