Good
GGuest UserOur 2nd time staying at this hotel. It was in a good neighborhood (many street food vendor at night). Good service (fast check-in/out), suitable parking space. Overall a great stay for us.
PPolka13This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste.
The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget.
I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution.
But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby.
I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.
FFirzahardynOne of the good hotels to try. Because there are many strategic places that sell cheap food and sungi because the location is in the middle of housing. The weather is cool and there is also a swimming pool. Suitable for families and couples for weekends or long holidays
AAristis SPlease change the door room coz there some crack on door room number 509. People can sneek into the room. Repair the hot water circulation coz both room 509 and 510 we dont get any hot water in the shower.
LLaurentiuBWe had a great stay at Bobocabin Ijen. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and very peaceful, especially if you want to relax before visiting Ijen. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the whole place had a really nice atmosphere.
The only downside for us was the food. It was quite limited.
Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for the location and the unique experience.
AAnonymous UserNot very familiar with this small place, so maybe the conditions are as expected given the cheap price. However, the soundproofing is terrible; we were startled by conversations from next door. We just had to make do with it.
GGuest UserI cannot recommend this place enough. The location and hotel grounds are stunningly beautiful and give you access to the insane views of the sunrise, mountains and ever-changing clouds.
We stayed in the family cabin which was perfectly designed and located, giving us 270 deg views from the comfort of our balcony. It got a little cold at night but a small heater is provided.
The hotel grounds and cabins are very well maintained and clean. You can truly appreciate the level of detail the employees have put in to maintain the garden and plants.
The restaurants are one of the main highlights as well. It has a very diverse menu of different cuisines and even alcohol options (which is uncommon). All the food we had including the breakfast buffet was spectacular, and the view from the restaurant terrace made it all the more better. It is definitely pricey for the area and country, but the convenience and quality made it worthwhile.
Staff are friendly and well trained in english. They responded quickly and were always helpful.
The resorts and cabins are all facing the sunrise direction. But just behind the hotel grounds, a 2-300m walk will bring you to an amazing viewpoint for sunset, which faces the famous Mt Bromo and sea of sand. Naturally Mt Batok and Mt Semeru are also visible.
Due to its amazing location, Mt Bromo tours to the sunrise viewpoints and hike etc are very near. You do not have to wake up as early as others and also skip more than half of the bad traffic coming up the mountain in the morning.
A perfect place to surround yourself in nature while enjoying the comfort of a cabin and restaurant food.
GGuest UserThe room is very bright thus enough light when its needed for me to work during my business trip. The breakfast have decent amount of choices. Will definitely come back and stay here in the future trip
Nnasaa_The location is strategic. Close to the campus area. Want to go anywhere near. The facilities are very complete. Cleanliness no. 1 siii. There is a garden in the pool area, so you can enjoy your time while relaxing. Top for Grand Valonia. Good luck
SSukon AtyathaI had a wonderful stay at Ibis Surabaya City Center. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the heart of the city.
What truly made the stay memorable was the outstanding service from the staff; they were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my entire visit. Additionally, the hotel's spa service was fantastic and highly relaxing. I am very impressed with the hospitality and overall experience here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Surabaya.
