All about facilities are fine,breakfast is okey but receptionist at front desk name hazie.... very cocky and she not even smiling. Its very hard to find receptionist who work at hotel like that..please la change your attitude..very poor.

Everything ok and i enjoy my vacation but hope can improve the breakfast to be more variety but the food good tasty..the room ok and comfortable.

Good location in the heart of the city kuala terengganu. Closed to the shopping mall and restaurant. Will come again

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The property was poorly maintained, and the air conditioning was ineffective, providing no cooling at all. The spring mattress was worn out and uneven, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The towels had an unpleasant odor, and the shampoo and bath gel were of poor quality, resembling jelly with no refreshing scent. I will not be staying here again.

Strategic location close to pasar payang and china town. Limited parking inside the hotel compound but easily can find nearby parking lot. Good river view..

Old hotel without furnishings, cannot complaint due to pricing really affordable, offer free hotel outdoors parking, located in town center, for short business trip nothing to complaint but will looking for other hotel if next business trip

During the Raya week, we went to Permai Hotel KT for a staycation. We really enjoyed it. The hotel room was clean and recently renovated. The kids love the comfortable bed and the swimming pool. The room comes with 2 complimentary breakfast for adults and extra fees for kids older than 4 years old. There’re lots of options for breakfast, including typical Malaysian nasi, noodles, cereals, kuih, fruits and salad. We also took dinner there. We ordered pastas and they were served with lots of seafood and vegetables. Between, I guess the sauce was mostly made from scratch. And the ingredients were fresh. The taste was awesome. My younger one is always picky with food. Yet she couldn’t stop eating her pasta and other orders 😆 The quality of the food far exceeds the standard for a 3 star hotel. Also, all the food was reasonably priced. With RM170 per night for a superior room, I think the experience and quality far exceed what it should deliver 😊. If you’re looking for a comfortable yet reasonably priced stay in Kuala Terengganu town., I highly recommend this hotel. And my only regret? Everything was great- came during weekdays so there was no many people here, feels like a private resort. It’s an old beach resort, but the beauty caught my eyes. I wish they can make some enhancement, they deserve more recognition. Also, one problem I encounter- requested for them to send me iron, but the forgot to do so. They should have been more alert because there were like, less than 10 bookings on that day. Service can be improved.

My partner had chosen Ming Paragon as our home for 3 nights in Kuala Terengganu as it was centrally located & close to many places of interest. It proved to be a good decision as much research had taken place prior to our holiday. Our flight had arrived in mid-morning. But since check-in was at 2:00 pm, we had brunch first & visited 2 places of interest to kill time. We arrived at the hotel just before 2:00 pm & parked the car in front of Ming Paragon as we were not aware that the hotel’s parking was behind the building. We had also used a parking app to pay for the street parking. Check-in was fast & hassle-free. There was no porter or concierge service as this is a 3-star hotel. We carried our luggage ourselves. Our room was on the 1st floor. It was smaller than I expected. However, it was decent & clean. The mattress was not as comfortable but the strategic location more than made up for it. The air-conditioning was good & at least there was floor space for us to pray. The bathroom was a good size. The water pressure was equally good. Best of all, it was equipped with a hand-bidet. That was a pleasant surprise as it was a Chinese hotel to begin with & I half expected it not to have one. The shower gel, shampoo & conditioner smelled good too. A hair-dryer was also available. WiFi was available & complimentary. However, the TV reception wasn’t good. There was much interference. Since we were mostly outdoors, it didn’t bother us so much. Although there was no refrigerator, there was a coffee & tea-making facility. A central fridge was available in the lobby. Hence, we had left our food in their chiller. We had parked at the hotel’s designated parking in the evening. A security guard watches over our car free of charge as it was complimentary for hotel guests. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Terengganu as Ming Paragon Hotel had met our expectations.

We stayed in this hotel for one night before we headed over to Marriott Perhentian. Chose this hotel as the jetty to the island is located here. We drove from KL to Kuala Besut and reached the hotel around 11pm. After such a long tiring drive, we were told upon check in that the water heater is faulty and that there will be no hot water for shower. Imagine my disappointment and sadness when I found out about this after such a long tiring drive. I really did not appreciate the fact that no one in the hotel bothered to email or message us on the app in advance regarding this situation. Rather, they just dropped the bomb upon check in leaving us with no alternatives. I would have appreciated if the team could have given us a heads up about this. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worst, the aircond in our room was not working. The room was stuffy and hot. When we informed the front desk, they were giving all kinds of excuses and gaslight us into thinking that some windows were open somewhere hence the aircond is not cold. Despite us reassuring them that all windows and doors are shut, they still insisted that nothing is wrong with the aircond. After about an hour or so, finally the maintenance guy is there which he then concluded that the aircond is not working. We then had to wait to change room past midnight after such a long day! I really hope the team can look into how to improve their quality as this is not the standard for any Marriott Hotels be it a Fairfield branch. At a rate of RM300++/night in the middle of no where, with no hot water or working aircond, I feel like I deserved a refund. Could have gotten a better stay by staying in the cheaper hotels nearby. Anyway, what a disappointing stay.

The only good thing about this place is the free water. We’d paid a lot more than we usually would for a budget accommodation so we were expecting a nice place. We drew the short straw and were given the room right at the front of the hotel meaning our full room lit up red from the sign above the hotel, also it was near impossible to sleep as it’s on a main road and the cars go past very fast and very loudly. Other than this the WiFi didn’t work and the air con was rubbish. On our second day we’d struggled to get into contact with the hotel to explain our dissatisfaction but they were ignoring our whats app messages and no body was on reception. When we finally spoke to them they didn’t seem bothered, they said the WiFi was broken and that they had no other rooms to move us to, they didn’t even offer a refund or to move us to there other hotel. The customer service here is rubbish and if you pay for WiFi you should 100% have WiFi and if not you should be entitled to a small refund or discount.

Everything is relative. For perhentian, barat is one of the cleaner hotels around. But for the price I paid during super peak season, one would expect cleaner services. I waited hours for the room to be ready, which I can understand as the night before was fully booked and I arrived before the official check in time. However, when I was finally able to check into my room,, the shampoo packet from the previous guest wasn't picked up and the drain hole still had hair. Towels were also damp. Once we got over this initial disappointment, I was quite happy for the rest of my time there. Room was well equipped with a kettle, hair dryer, fan and super cool air conditioning, the latter was crucial to alleviate the record heat we are experiencing. Location was superb as well. You can go snorkeling at the beach outside the neighboring hotel, where you can see baby sharks hanging around the rocks. I was assured by the staff that momma shark don't hunt there. I guess they are right since I lived to write this review. Those a little braver can swim out to turtle point (life jacket recommended). Every morning, loads of boats arrive here to drop off eager snorkelers hoping to catch a glimpse of turtles. It's nice to have the option to go anytime at your leisure, staying at barat hotel nearby.

We stayed for a few nights in Aprill, Best hotel we stayed in ,it was so clean,and the staff were so friendly,i didnt want to leave !!! My 2 children age 5 and 7 said it was “The best holtel !!!” With your own swimming pool , Its right on the beach surround by lush jungle and wildlife ,we saw so many tropical fish too right infront of the hotel , Plus turtles !!! Ive already booked to go back in August for the price its worth it,and the restaurant on sight has a good menu highly reccomend “red beef”

We went for short vacation during weekends. It was only an hour drive from home. The resort was in great location next to Bukit Keluang hiking point. It has 4 swimming pools of various depths, kids friendly and open 24hours. Room was clean and has basic facilities, fridge, aircond, hot water, tv, heater, iron, n iron board. As for breakfast, only ala carte available, nasi kerabu daging bakar, if you are not fond of eating this food better booking without complimentary breakfast. There is no room service for food. A lot of cheap food, seafood & western available at restaurants near to this resort.

Sorry for the low rate.. booking online via trip.com.. from Perak to here which almost took 6-7 hours.. to arrive.. the hotel that was booked seems to have people check in first.. double booking.. even though the owner already paid back the booked amount .. it still feels like an error .. he is tired .. there is no need to find another hotel .. again the cost will increase .. sorry .. the owner will take a small amount .. pls check with the registered provider ..

Hotel best gilaaa!!, service veryyy the tiptop. Service kena dengan hotel 5star veryy friendly ye staff dia. Setiap petang akan dapat free drink and sedap ye smoothie dia. Breakfast palinggg onzz yee mcm mcm pilihan. Bilik overall okayy cuma takde tv. Plus staff akan kemas bilik and topap balik air botol if dh habis. Then, Area hotel banyak kedai makan waktu malam juga so u guys takkan boring. Mknn sedap2 cuma aga priceyyy sikit la. Jadi kene standbyyy wangg yg byk coz of dlm tu tkde atm.

We stayed at temu primula for 1 night before our journey to perhentian island. The hotel is near to the beach area. Room is spacious and clean. But need a bit of maintenance especially at the corridor and outside the hotel. Got eating place like fast food chain nearby but need to travel by car.

4 rooms apartment was spacious even for 2 families, we got new refurbished apartment in floor 8, clean, ( very nice compare to 4 years ago) Breakfast was good , but not many choices but ok with price just add rm 25 for additional breakfast. Near to food stalls at the beach just 5mins Walk

Facilities match the price. The room is spacious and comfortable. It's just that the bathroom lights are a bit dim and the physical condition of the building looks a little worn. If repainted it will look more cheerful.
