3-Star Hotels in Oslo County, Norway

Book this comfort hotel for proximity to central station yet far enough to be away from pedestrians. Near tram and bus stations as well that can bring you all over town. Walking distance to Munch Museum, Bjorvika broadwalk all the way to Akershus Fortress and Castle. Breakfast was GOOD. Same stuff everyday but variety enough to try different things for 3 days.

I had a very comfortable stay at Citybox. The check-in process was smooth and self-service, which made everything quick and easy. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed with everything I needed for a short stay. The location is also very convenient for exploring the city. Overall, a simple, efficient, and pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was just okay. I really disliked the bright red curtains; they felt quite basic. The table inside seemed flimsy, like it couldn't hold anything heavy. I booked a room with breakfast included, but it turns out it wasn't a proper breakfast—just a sandwich, yogurt, or coffee from the front desk. The prices here are shocking; a cup of coffee is 55, a banana is 15, a yogurt is 59, and a sandwich is around 100. A simple breakfast can easily cost several hundred. Norway's prices really make you hesitant to spend money. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the train station and close to a shopping mall. However, if you're pulling a big suitcase, getting to the hotel involves walking up a steep hill, which is quite a struggle. The area around is also under construction and a bit messy. Overall, Oslo, Norway, was just very average.

The hotel's location is very central, with all the city's attractions within walking distance, right next to the busiest pedestrian street. However, it's a bit far from the station. On the day I arrived, dragging my luggage from the station on a slippery road, it took me a while to find it. There's construction happening next door and across the street, which slightly affects the view. The room isn't large, but it's fine for one person. Breakfast was also decent.

This Hotel is very smart. The rooms are enough for few nights in this city. I am sure 100% that it is the best option in this city. Very close all objects which you want to visit in this country. Breakfast are amazing. Cozy style of this resteurant and room. Everything was perfect. Towels available Wifi available Nice to be there once again

It was so good but very hard to check in and check out ! There is no reception everything is automated but need to call the person

Anker Hotel are newly renovated with modern design. Like the mattress and very functional design of the room. Tram station is just right in front of the hotel and within 10 mins you are at city central. In fact it is all able to walk to most of designations. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Oslo

The breakfast was good, and the room was acceptable. However, the room cleaning service needs improvement: I stayed here for three nights and requested daily room cleaning upon check-in, which was recorded at the front desk. However, when I returned to my room the next day, I found it hadn't been cleaned. I told the front desk, and they sent someone to remove the trash and change the towels. They also told me that my room had been registered for priority cleaning the following day. But the next day, when I returned, the room was completely uncleaned. I think this aspect is very poor.

The reception staff were always helpful. I'd especially like to mention Alexander. He's very responsive and reliable! He even helped us find locations for places in Oslo we were visiting for the first time. The breakfast was wonderful; they gave us a to-go breakfast early in the morning. Great location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice. However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms. Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.
