The location and room type were fantastic! Being right next to the train station and ferry was so convenient, and I loved being able to walk along the beach. However, the room had a very unpleasant, damp odor—almost like old carpet or pet accidents. It didn’t feel clean at all, and I actually had to buy my own room spray to make it bearable. Great spot, but the room hygiene needs urgent attention.
Nice big clean room in a great location. Onsite restaurant and bar is a plus. The property is quite dated but is in the process of a major renovation. We still enjoyed our stay and the property was great value for money.

I love this place! The beds are very comfy, and the bathroom is very spacious and clean. It’s great that the hotel can arrange parking for you at Wilson Car Park, which is just beside the hotel this makes everything so much more convenient.
The location is within walking distance of most tourist destinations such as Cuba Street, Willis Lane, the Waterfront, Beehive,Wellington cable car,and Te Papa Museum so u dont need much driving around the town just to explore as u can do all of it by just walking from the hotel.
It’s also close to many restaurants and convenience stores.
The staff are amazing and very helpful! I also love the Nespresso machine in the room. I will definitely come back and book here again next time!

The staff were great location was excellent but the state of the apartment was extremely poor. Dishes hadn’t been cleaned, the toilet was leaking from the base, the kitchen was dirty and there was a cockroach on the wall in the kitchen.
I chose this hotel because I wasn't flying back to Wellington until 8:30 p.m. and was flying on to Sydney at 6:00 a.m. The hotel's advantage is its proximity to the airport and the great free airport pickup and drop-off service. There is a Rydges Hotel right at Wellington Airport, but it's probably significantly more expensive than the relatively affordable Brentwood at €90 per night. The hotel is clearly showing its age, but a renovation is probably not worth it, given the low price and the great transfer service.
Memory, the name of the receptionist/manager was the high point of the Willis Wellington. She was friendly, accommodating, and allowed me to store my bags both before my check-in and after my check-out. She was super helpful and provided me with guidance about navigating Wellington. She needs a raise. Overall average hotel coming from a former night guest service agent. The laundry facilities could be improved with free laundry powder, the rooms could be improved through offering additional soaps and tooth brush sets for customers who forget theirs', the carpet could be replaced which would give the hotel a face lift. There should always be something at reception greeting guests and helping them with their bags. There is no reason why their isn't a concierge available to help guests. In addition to this, the lights make the hotel feel depressing and old. Please, consider my feedback, someone with relevant experience working in a 4.5 star hotel.

The location is quite convenient, there are many restaurants around the building, especially many Chinese restaurants. The transportation is also quite convenient, the overall environment is quite clean, and the facilities are quite complete.

Perfectly adequate sized rooms, but space is not generous. Shared bathrooms can be a nuisance if you are busting. Really needs separate toilets. Quiet street (for a central city) and easy to walk to from Courtney Place/Cuba St, etc. Very attentive concierge. Very good value - you get what you pay for.

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.

GGuest UserBit of a maze to get to the room. The shower rail is detached from the wall on the lower holder. The bathroom basically floods when you have a shower to the point the water started running out into the bedroom. There is no handle to the sliding door of the bathroom door and it easily comes off the track.
The state of the cups and facilities in the room is pretty dirty. I didnt use any of the cups as I found it had a layer of grease inside the cups.
Overall not as pleasant as I had hoped it woulb be.
But the location was awesome, right in the middle of town.

MMarcel MeulmanIn the heart of the downtown city close to the action if you like to go out in the evening. We missed the airco as it was warm on our room. We had nice view on the church next to the hotel

SShiela EsmoladaI have enjoyed my stay in Richmond Hotel. The staff is very accomodating. I have arrived past the check-in period and still managed to check-in through the help of Dinah😊, even left some fresh milk in the fridge. I really appreciate it coz I was so hungry and tired after a long bus journey😊.
I also loved the bed, it aids with my sore body after a 12hr bus journey.

PPattersonAlways thoroughly enjoy my stay here. Very convenient, a step away from central Courtenay Place. Parking is convenient and easily accessed. Rooms are fully equipped with kitchenette that has its own dishwasher/cooktop/fridge etc. super comfy bed and nice little balcony. Really nice open plan bathroom/wet room and lighting is great for dolling up! It’s the PERFECT spot for a night out on the town. Always will be booking here for when I am needing to spend my night in Central Wellington for events. Christian H at the counter is a very nice and welcoming work colleague.
