3-Star Hotels in Metro Manila, Philippines

I recently stayed at Kabayan Hotel with my girlfriend for two nights, and we booked a standard twin room. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that helped us rest well throughout our stay. Even though it was a twin setup, it still worked fine for the two of us and didn’t feel too cramped. The amenities were simple but functional, and everything we needed was provided. Housekeeping kept the room tidy during our stay, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly, approachable, and always ready to help, making our overall experience smooth and hassle-free. For a two-night stay, it was definitely comfortable and convenient. I’d gladly stay here again in the future.

Although the staff are nice and polite, it cannot hide and disregard the importance of cleanliness inside the room. I was from a long flight & I had my medical check up also knowing that I am pregnant I find it alarming tgat by the timw I arrive it was not properly cleaned. Even if the hotel is not new, the cleanliness should be prioritized and there are chemicals for stains etc. These pictures are taken JUST THE TIME I HAVE ARRIVED and it makws me sad. I stayed here befoee but its not this worst.. I’ve been staying to different hotels just sadly they are fully booked so I picked Go hotels but I must say I’m disappointed & I am afraid to come back again Also the sheets are already stained I am paranoid it was not washed properly I myself work in a ship for catering that’s why I am aware that these things can be avoided or corrected Bur kudos for respecful staff the way they greet and talk.. I also told frontdesk the other room beside me was noisy & politely ask for help to tell that I can’t sleep. I have to wake up 3am to prepare for my medical & I even extended my stay but things are the same the cleanliness really needs to be taken seriously

Urban Travellers Hotel is a nice place to stay with decent amenities that make for a comfortable visit. Rooms are nice albeit a bit outdated. The air conditioning was cold and nice, I had to lower it since it's a bit to cold for me. Also has a separate table which you can use to eat at and has a separate wardrobe for your clothes. If you are a light sleeper, the room I was in was leaking in noise from the main road,so bear that in mind. It wasn't too noisy that you can't relax but you can definitely hear cars honking and passing by. Complementary breakfast is 1 viand and 1 egg, it is paired with garlic rice and pansit which are unlimited. Soup is also provided. Coffee is unlimited too if you are into that.

I had an absolutely excellent stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding—staff were highly professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt well taken care of. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation. Everything was well-maintained, organized, and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful and relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, making it easy to access nearby areas in Manila. Throughout my stay, I appreciated the consistent quality of service and the staff’s willingness to assist with any request promptly and politely. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value with high standards of hospitality. I highly recommend Swiss-Belhotel Blulane to both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation.

The biggest highlight is the location. It’s right across from NAIA Terminal 3 via the Runway Manila bridge, which made arrival and departure incredibly stress-free. Being within Newport World Resorts also meant easy access to restaurants, cafes, and entertainment options without needing to travel far. The room was clean and well-maintained. It’s not very spacious, but it had everything needed for a short stay: a comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay. Service was efficient and polite. Staff were helpful, especially with check-in and basic requests. Overall, it’s a great choice for a short stay, layover, or business trip, especially if proximity to the airport is a priority.

I stayed here to watch the SB19 concert at SMDC fest grounds. I chose this budget-type hotel as the location is near to the concert area, I knew I would be walking home after the concert. I love their food. I just felt unsecured about the window that could not be locked even though their are big steel grills outside. I hope they will fix it. Overall, the stay was worth the price.

Location to PITX (and thus, airport) is so convenient. Pool is nice, just check the times its operating. (Same as with the Gym) As for the room, its mostly nice apart from the TV being all-mandarin (use a dongle if you want youtube!), Wifi randomly dropping at times (and the 5G band being extremely unreliable), aircon remote randomly not working, some paint job being chipped away at the far side of the room beside the balcony, and the shower ceiling randomly having a temporary cardboard job. Service was nice, though I highly recommend buying some airtime to your number, as you either need that or doing the whole song and dance of going to the lobby and back up, and as with me having others in my journey meant that I always ask the security to tap his card to get back to my floor. Speaking of security, there’s a baggage scanner installed near the elevator lobby, so be mindful of that. I chose the option with no food, so we went instead to a hot pot restaurant at the ground floor. There’s also some parking outside. City Center Executive is part of the whole Imperial Plaza Residences complex, so on top of everything that I mentioned in this review, be extra mindful of the residents and try not to bother them.

The location was also very convenient since it was close to malls, restaurants, and transportation terminals, making it easy to go around the city. For a budget-friendly hotel, I honestly did not expect such a pleasant stay. It was worth the price and I would definitely consider staying there again when visiting Cubao. Highly recommended for travelers looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay.

It's nice to stay but when we are checking out..., 5mins before 12nn...we're shocked because all electronic functions were shot down... But its fine because we are ready to go out...
