The ground is lovely with garden and pool. The entrance hall is also very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is a bit old but still clean and comfortable. Thanks

The hotel is pretty good, with plenty of rooms that are a decent size and the facilities are all good too. They offer a hotel shuttle service, but it's shared with other hotels and some parking lots, so you often have to wait a long time, and even then, there might not be any seats available. I'm not sure why, but this specific shuttle always seems to be packed, while shuttles from other hotels are usually almost empty.

The hotel was very impressive. Check-in was done remotely, and there was no service staff at the front desk. A new experience. The hotel yard is very beautiful. The swimming pool and landscaping are good. I was given a room inside and had a quiet and beautiful night's sleep. Recommended, the price is also affordable.

Room had a funky smell and windows were filthy. There was a note under task from April saying rooms would not be freshened due to labor shortage. 7 weeks later no remedy. Negates one of the reason fro staying in a hotel Bathroom had half doors; knob fell off without me noticing. I stepped on it and slid. Fortunately was able to catch myself before falling. There was no remote for tv so had to call for one. Once it arrived tv didn't work; it had been disconnected. Maintenance came relatively quickly both times

Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great. Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience. We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

Stayed for 4 days, and it was great. The room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. It felt very safe, with no homeless people around. The hotel locks its main entrance at midnight, and you can only enter with your room key card. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket on the street behind the hotel, making it very convenient. Both bus stops and cable car stops are nearby. One thing to note is that the bus stop is only on one side of the street; for the opposite direction, you'll need to look for the 'bus stop' markings on the road, as there isn't a clear platform. Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good, safe Service: Good, free umbrella loan

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱. I stayed there for 2 weeks, working from home during the day, going out at night. Pros: - excellent value for the comfort and amenities at under $65/night - great desk & comfortable chair for laptop work - nice modern Philips large-screen TV you can connect to via HDMI - the Internet was ok (~10Mbps) but disconnected daily (reconnecting the WiFi restored it) - pretty quiet considering the proximity to the freeway: just white noise, haven't heard any revving or sirens - walls don't provide much sound insulation but I've heard only ONE neighbor conversation during my 2-week stay. It did help that I chose a room on the top floor, and next to the janitorial room (#522) - the wall-mounted A/C was surprisingly quiet, and heating worked fast - ventilation was okay if you keep the window open about 1ft - only saw 3 flying insects, and a crawling one in the shower - clean room, only found a few hair strands in the shower - mini-fridge was quiet and held a week's worth of food - great use of space: 4 large drawers, rack with clothes hangers, space for suitcases to be out of the way, 2 mirrors - the staff was very kind of provide a microwave, can opener, paper plates - pool was clean - two hot tubs were great, and MUCH cleaner than my friend's who stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott next door - coin-operated laundry on site ($2.50 + $2.50 W/D, $1.50 laundry soap) - nice landscaping and you could smell eucalyptus trees Neutral: - the pool/hot tub area closed at 10pm - there's nothing to do in the walkable area (just other hotels), but North Park is only a $10 Uber ride away, and the Fashion Mall is right across the freeway - construction in front of the lobby should be finished by the end of 2025 Cons: - gym was tiny and lacking: only 3 cardio machines (one elliptical that felt awkward) and one cable stations with fixed cable points; no free weights, towels, or watercooler cups

Our experience when at the hotel was good. Although as someone who spent over a week in this hotel, I feel that having to pay for parking and not having complementary breakfast is a downfall for us, considering how much is spent. In the future, we will spend more time looking around to see what better options we have although the location was perfect.

The room is quite big, the facilities should be there, the water in the bathroom is not big enough, it is said that the sea view room does not see the sea at all, the service desk is basically self-service, there are few service staff, no breakfast, you have to solve it yourself, okay There are many restaurants nearby, typical motels, sound insulation is not good, wooden structure, prices are still quite expensive, still a distance from the sea, there are many nearby hotels, you can try other hotels next time.

The hotel I chose to stay in when visiting Riverside was pretty good, but the hotel wifi was not very good. The three people traveling with me could not log in. Even if we asked the front desk for a code, it was still an invalid code. It was disappointing! The hotel's specialty massage was ridiculously expensive, so I gave up trying it. There is a Macy's mall next to it, which is not worth visiting~

GGuest UserMy wife and I visited Catalina Island for our 28th anniversary — our first time back since before we were married in 1997. We chose the Catalina Canyon Inn specifically for the pool, jacuzzi, on-site restaurant, and shuttle service. Their website is very nice and seemed like a perfect match for the occasion. Unfortunately, very little matched what was advertised. Shuttle: The shuttle was not waiting at the Catalina Express port when we arrived on the last ferry Saturday evening which was unexpected. Four of us were left waiting in the dark for about 20 minutes until the other couple called the hotel. The driver was friendly and apologized, but this set the tone for the weekend. The shuttle was consistently unreliable throughout our stay. They tell you to call the driver directly, but he often didn't answer. You'd end up having to call the hotel instead, and the shuttle only seemed to come after someone went inside and told the front desk in person. At one point we waited 45 minutes. Some guests got frustrated and just decided to walk, but the hotel sits at the top of a steep hill — not a realistic option, especially for older guests like us. Their website suggests the shuttle runs regularly, but that was far from our experience. Restaurant: We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM Saturday and were turned away, even though their website says they're open until 8:00 PM. We had to rush down the hill to find dinner to-go in town before the shuttle stopped running at 8:45. It was a shame we didn't even have time to stay and eat on our anniversary or face having to trek up that hill. The next morning I mentioned this to the restaurant owner, who insisted they closed at 8:00 and that she was there. She then told us the restaurant closes at 2:00 PM on Sundays — so dinner there that night wasn't an option either. She was very friendly though I must say. On Monday we finally had breakfast before checkout. The food was mediocre and didn't match the glowing reviews at all. The prices were also odd — $12 for mozzarella sticks, $20 for nachos, but only $11 for pulled pork sliders, which you'd expect to be the pricier item. The pricing just didn't add up. While we were there, another couple was turned away at 1:30 PM because the restaurant closes from 2–4 on Mondays. We could feel their frustration. Jacuzzi: The jacuzzi we were looking forward to was covered up and converted into a gazebo with chairs. At first we couldn't find it but yea. No mention of this on the website. Room issues: The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The front desk told us we can mention it to housekeeping, who didn't come until after 5:00 PM. We got the soap and a couple fresh towels. The towels themselves were thin and didn't dry well overnight so fresh ones were sorely needed to get at least one shower in with soap before we had to leave the next day. The TV didn't work at all, and the microwave was unplugged — though I was able to fix that myself. The hotel also doesn't offer complimentary coffee, which is standard at most hotels we've stayed at for half the price. The good: The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and the balcony was a nice touch. The room was quiet. Bottom line: The website gives a very different impression than what you actually get. Between the unreliable shuttle, limited and unpredictable restaurant hours, missing amenities, thin towels, and no coffee, this was not the anniversary experience we hoped for. I'd recommend staying somewhere closer to downtown so you're not dependent on a shuttle and stuck with limited options. I think we need to redo our anniversary. It was a miss for sure.

GGuest UserIdeal hotel for 1 night stay before flight. Near airport, big room with balcony and view. Room clean. Near hotel bus stop for airport bus, easy to go to airport even at night. What can be better - restaurant and bar closed, so if you need food or drink need to go far away.

KKerrTravelsThis review based on mainly on my check-in experience and first impressions of the room. After 2 flights traveling from Shanghai to Los Angeles, including a 12-hour flight, I arrived exhausted and ready to check in. I was aware of the required USD $100 deposit and had no issue paying it. However, upon arrival I was informed that cash deposits are not accepted. This information was not stated on the booking platform I used (Trip.com), nor was it made clear in advance in any correspondence from the hotel. As a result, I was left waiting over 30 minutes in the lobby while staff contacted a manager and discussed making a “one-time exception.” To be clear, this situation should never have occurred. If a hotel does not accept cash deposits, that policy must be clearly and explicitly stated on all booking platforms, not just the hotel’s own website, which the manager on duty reiterated, that it was on the hotel’s website. Guests should not be made to feel as though they are asking for special treatment when the lack of transparency on a specific policy is not their fault. I had already prepaid for two nights online, yet due to the hotel’s failure to update its information, I was left embarrassed, inconvenienced, and forced to wait in the lobby after an exhausting international journey. I want to emphasize that I am not blaming the front desk staff personally, nor the manager on duty, as they are likely following the rules given to them. However, situations like this must be handled with far greater care and professionalism. Paying guests, especially those who are respectful and simply trying to check in should be treated with dignity and understanding. While the manager on duty appeared to try to assist, by that point I was already too annoyed and too exhausted to engage in further discussion on an issue that was not my problem. Being told that a “one-time exception” would be made did not feel helpful, because I was not asking for a favor; I was simply trying to check into a room I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the room itself did not improve my first impression. Basic expectations typically associated with this brand were missing, no complimentary water, minimal toiletries, and nothing that made the stay feel welcoming after such a long journey. Having stayed at Holiday Inn and IHG properties across the world, this is easily one of the poorest first impressions I have experienced in hotel stays. I was extremely dissatisfied with both the check-in service and the overall initial experience. Clear communication, professionalism, and basic hospitality standards matter to all customers, especially for tired international travelers. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this property again. All the other staff I encountered during my were lovely though, especially the restaurant/kitchen staff and the security officer.

AAnonymous UserIt is under renovation and smells! Also, the sound insulation is very poor!! The breakfast has been changed to a box, which needs to be picked up at the front desk, which is not acceptable. Not recommended in the short term, maybe after the renovation is completed? AAnonymous UserThe hotel shuttle waits at the designated pick-up area on the third floor of the terminal, stopping at every terminal. Within a 100-200 meter walk from the hotel, there are convenient stores like In-N-Out, a supermarket, and Starbucks, so you won't go hungry. The room amenities are complete, and breakfast is basic. Overall, it's very convenient.

LLyn R.Awesome front desk service and staff! Just stayed over for the weekend to attend a Dodgers game. Picked this hotel because other closer hotels had a $40-$60 per night parking fee, while this one was reasonably priced at $15 per night I believe. I wasn’t expecting a brand new hotel, and it was really nice. Only junk thing was our in room fridge was either broken or not plugged in so I had to throw away a cup of fruit but not a big deal. Will definitely be staying here every time I come to town for a game.

GGuest UserLocation is very close to Disneyland which is perfect, about 7-10 minute walk. It is hard to see the actual hotel because of the surrounding tall buildings but the small entrance is right next to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We are a family of 6 with 16,7,8 and 3 year old kids. We were given a corner room, 2 queen bed suite. Room location is not ideal, we have a view of the hotel’s HVAC system. I think the suite is quite small but it does not matter to us since we didn’t book to stay at the hotel but to spend in Disneyland. I have one complaint about the room: the charging station (one) by the night stand was not working, as well as the reading light on one of the beds. This is personally important to me as I need to charge my phone at the end of the day and I need it close to my bed for easy access. The bathroom is clean. Spacious stand in shower. Great water pressure and temperature. Spacious bathroom vanity with large LED mirror. Towels are enough. Toiletries are complete. Room kitchen is complete with a spacious fridge. Room sofa is ok, not the most comfortable but it is not a deal breaker for me. The sofa can turn into a bed but we didn’t use it. One large tv in the living area and one large tv in the bedroom. I think the closet size is decent, has limited number of hangers. Hotel lobby and dining area is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Free buffet breakfast when I booked, it was good- depending on the day, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon, tater tots, fried potatoes, grapes and honeydew, different flavored yogurt, make-your-own-Mickey-waffles, bagels. They have all the condiments and all kinds of drinks. You can order food from your room from outside places (room service) but the choices are limited and of course more expensive; we used DoorDash instead as the price is about the same, if not, cheaper and the choices are endless and it was delivered right to our room anyway. Check in and check out process is quick and smooth. I’d say our stay was comfortable and enjoyable for the most part!
