The oldest small hotel in the town. It has a strong English style and ancient furniture. The photo is very warm.
We booked the room three months in advance and the hotel upgraded us. We were very satisfiedš
We had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel at 7:30 in the evening. We originally wanted to have lobster pasta, but maybe we went late and there was no lobster. We changed it to beef pasta and it tasted the sameš
The portion of the dish is so large that itās a waste if it canāt be eaten by two peopleā¦
The surrounding area of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the most central shops and restaurants. There are various kinds of food, most of them are walking. Some old buildings are beautiful and there is a park. In addition, the hotel is only a few minutes away from the lake. View, there is a childrenās museum by the lake, and you can go on a yacht. Every Friday night, there is a lobster buffet on the yacht. Living here is a very good choice for families and individuals.
Good hotel, there are many kinds of restaurants around the hotel, there are bookstores, college shopping malls, many students often come to shop and go to restaurants, there are many other brand hotels around, to see personal preferences and cost-effective.
Location was great. Pool are outdoor area were exceptional. The guest rooms are in need of being updated. The staff could have been friendlier. We were charged $25 for checking in an hour before check-in time. Our room was ready so there was zero time/effort for us to check in a little early. Definitely a bad policy.

The young woman working at the front desk was rude on several occasions. This is unacceptable in todayās business environment. She should seek employment elsewhere- NOT in customer service. Hotel was very clean, great location.

GGuest UserThe hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. The pool was a great way to keep the children entertained, and they even had some pool toys available over the weekend. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was cooked to perfectionāIām sure thereās a fantastic cook on staff. Coffee and tea are complimentary in reception and always in a clean area.
The one-bedroom king suite had a lovely kitchenette, which was perfect for cooking up a storm. The location was great, just a short walk to a shopping centre, Target, Daveās Hot Chicken, Chipotle and a few other shops. Itās also a short drive to town, and thereās plenty of parking available.
The room is usually cleaned upon request, but once you ask, itās done.
One thing that could have been improved was the sofa bed. It was quite uncomfortable, and since we booked the room for a family of four, it would have been lovely if the bed had been made for us on the first night. Unfortunately, we noticed some reddish-brown stains on the mattress, which were quite unsightly and could have been blood or some kind of spillage.
KKatieWhen we arrived, the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. We were told we could eat at the restaurant right off the lobby so we planned to eat dinner there. When we arrived at the restaurant 20 mins later, they told us we could not eat there unless we had made prior reservations due to a wedding they had next door. The lady told us āwe have to prioritize the wedding of 200 peopleā. I asked where we should eat and the lady shrugged. One of the waiters, who was very kind apologized and recommended the bar . They had some dishes from their restaurant menu. We were pretty irritated because we were both exhausted and the lady was very rude to us. We watched 20+ people get turned away from eating dinner due to this wedding. I completely understand that they need to focus on a wedding and the food for the wedding, however we shouldāve been told about this when we arrived that the restaurant wasnāt available unless we had already made a reservation. The resort is very nice and there was a lot of fun things you can do there, but some of the staff were quite unkind.
GGuest UserVery nice place and location excellent. When I first checked in, I was underwhelmed by the lack of help from the girl at reception. I asked her if there were any pumpkin patches locally and she told me to Google it. Another reception lady later gave me a whole list of local activities without even asking. The whip was lovely but the online menu is not the same as the one in the restaurant. There is no cheese board available for example. Parking was tough at times. Other than that the place was very nice and staff were lovely.
GGuest UserThe fire pjt was excellent at night for a quiet wind down. The room could probably be cleaner or maintained better as the pipe in the room are quite obvious and can see the holes near the edge of all walls inside the guest room. but appreciate it as the hotel is located at a country side.
My personal white bath towel was taken away by the housekeeping team because it looked similar to the hotel's towel. luckily it was found right before we check out. Thanks to the concierge and housekeeping team.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It is located in the green mountain scenic area. It can ski in winter, enjoy the red leaves in autumn, and the service is very good. The rooms are medium in size and the two queen beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is average, and free coffee and tea is good throughout the day. There are gyms, swimming pools, SPAs, and the location of the rooms on the mountainside feels good. The traffic to the surrounding scenic spots is also very convenient. The network signal in the mountains is not good, and the hotel's Wi-Fi is no problem.

GGuest UserProbably THE nicest āmotelāweāve stayed in as it really is a Motor Lodge type motel - parking around both sides of the building - park near your room - great finishes, clean and large sized room. Very comfortable! Close to good restaurants.
PPaul FrancisThis is a great location, not far from Sugarbush, and also not far from great shopping. And 10 to 15 steps to great pizza, at Flatbread pizza. The staff was very good, and friendly. Overall, a great getaway.
