based on 4 reviews"I wanted to take a boat to Gulao Water Town to enjoy the lotus flowers, but the result was a bit disappointing. According to the latest feedback from locals, this year the cross-sea waves in Gulao Water Town (the largest lotus pond in previous years) were dug out the roots of the lotus due to the earlier cleaning of the silt. So this year there are no lotus flowers to enjoy (not climate reasons) and small lotus flowers everywhere in the countryside are open as scheduled."Heshan6.7km from downtownNo. 1 of Summer OutingsHighlights: The ancient labor township is an original Lingnan water town. Here, the green hills, green water, stone bridges and farmhouses complement each other. The scenery is even more enchanting when the lotus blooms every summer.
