"Tickets purchased on-site are 18 pounds, there are not many people, it is easy to buy tickets, maybe you need to make an appointment when there are many people, I don't have it. Trip.com It's a little more expensive to buy, and the ticket is OK. Send an email to open the QR code and scan it. Youk minster is a very exquisite gothic building. Although I don't know much about religious content, the grandeur of the whole building and the sense of history everywhere are shocking enough."

Highlights: York Minster is the largest Gothic church in England. Construction began in the early 13th century and was completed 250 years later. The church has the world's largest medieval stained glass and the world's oldest side porch. There are also some small collections inside, such as cherubs and shields from the feudal era. When visiting the church, you can choose the time when York Minster holds evening prayers, and enjoy the magnificent atmosphere of York Minster with the beautiful singing of the choir and the sound of the organ. Walk 275 steps to the top of the 71-meter-high central tower, which offers beautiful views of York. Walking along the city wall from BoothamBar to MonkBar, you can enjoy the majestic view of York Minster.

"There are rumors that Wimbledon Street is good to see, but when I actually went there, it was nice because there were many shops to see! I heard that the ghost shop is famous, but there was a long line in front of me, so I couldn't go in."

Highlights: York's Butcher Street is the most complete and oldest medieval street preserved in the UK so far. In the past, there were butcher shops here, and the meat was easily spoiled in the sun, so the roads were narrowed to avoid excessive direct sunlight. Butcher Street gets almost no sunlight all year round, and it's cool in summer. There are buildings full of fairy tales, and it is also the place where the little wizards in the "Harry Potter" series of movies buy various magic props and books - the prototype of "Diagon Alley". However, the Chinese translation of this street name has nothing to do with magic, and there are even some "heavy mouths" called "butcher's street". The original English word for "Butcher Street" is TheShambles, which is derived from the medieval word "Shamel". The English meaning of "Shamel" is Booth (stall) + Bench (bench), which means "butcher shop" somewhat. Since there is an official historical record, this street has been a street of butchers + butchers. Now the Butcher Street is a very famous commercial street in York, and the streets have been greatly changed. The shops on both sides of the street are all exquisite and individual shops, with a strong literary atmosphere. There are also many antique shops tucked away in Butcher Row, and for those who love antiques, this is a treasure-hunting paradise.

"George VI once said proudly that "the history of York is the history of England." Located on the banks of the River Us in north-east England, York is the second largest tourist city in England, with outstanding architecture and 2,000-year history blended with thriving commercial streets, with more than 30 museums and galleries in the city centre. Here you can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the leisure and tranquility of the British town."

Highlights: York City Wall is a 5 km long square city wall built by the Romans as a barrier against foreign enemies. These city walls can be seen from the train station entering the city. The city wall is centered on York Minster, and it takes about 2 hours to circle the city wall. In York, the entrance to the city is called "Bar", and the entrance to the city wall includes BoothamBar in the north and MicklegateBar in the southwest, as well as MonkBar in the northeast and WalmgateBar in the southeast. Visitors can only take a short walk, such as BoothamBar near York Minster to MonkBar, along the way, you can see the landscape of York Minster.

"Walk about five minutes from York Station, go to platform 11, cross the overpass, there are signs, it is easy to see. There are not many people, I didn't make an appointment to go directly in. There are a lot of local elderly and children, but watch quietly. The history of the train is clear at a glance, and the knowledge is increased. Half of the backbone of European railways comes from Britain, and the trains and train technology that existed more than a hundred and fifty years ago are truly admirable."

Highlights: The National Railway Museum is located east of the railway station on Leeman Road. As the birthplace of trains in the United Kingdom, the National Railway Museum collects steam-powered locomotives, the limousine used by Queen Victoria, the Hogwarts train in the Harry Potter movies, the third-class tram, the Eurostar, Japan Shinkansen "HIKARI" and Stephenson's rocket replica, etc. The corridor on the second floor displays license plates, train tickets and other items and photos. In addition, there are countless buttons, watches, clocks, maps, posters and an antique old station in the museum.

"1. The appearance is good, the interior is relatively small, the design of the stairs to the top is very creative, you can overlook the whole city! 2. Figure 1 is the price list; Trip.com The resources are a bit exaggerated. I set a big one and a small two tickets for 316, and the scene is 21 pounds less than 200 RMB. You can make money but it feels too cruel. Everyone can buy it on the spot, which is very convenient."

Highlights: Perched high above a small hill, Clifford's Tower is one of the few remaining remains of York Castle. Also known as the Tower of Bleeding, the tower was a Jewish burial place at the end of the 12th century and has long been haunted by ghost stories. Clifford's Tower was built according to the appearance of the castle left by the ancient Romans, so both the arches and the cloisters are somewhat similar to the Colosseum. The tower was used as a fortification and later as a prison and mint. It is currently used as a monument for tourists to visit. Climb to the top of the tower through the narrow spiral tower ladder, from where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of York.

Highlights: Whether you are a sweet tooth fanatic, or a "pseudo-sweet patient" who is attracted by the sweet stories behind chocolate, you can't "drift past" from the Chocolate Factory (York's Chocolate Story) calmly when you come to York. The sweet taste that permeates the air will definitely grab your heart. It's better to follow the feeling, walk in and drink a cup of hot chocolate to warm your stomach. Of course, the various handmade chocolate cakes here will not disappoint you. taste buds. After eating and drinking enough, if your purse is not thin, then let's lose some weight to it! Whether it's "York Chocolate" or other chocolate candies, it's worth taking it across the ocean to share with your family and friends.

Highlights: York Castle Museum is located in the southeast of York Castle, converted from a former prison. Although it is called the Castle Museum, the exhibition content is very extensive. Each themed exhibition area provides different historical life records and collection displays. The museum houses daily objects from the past 400 years, including old TV sets, radios, washing machines and vacuum cleaners. It also introduces the life of the Yorkers from 1580 to 1980, including Victorian and Edwardian style street scenes and houses. Visitors can also visit the prison where the well-known thief Dick Tambing was held, or enter an Edwardian-era popular pub. Life-size old streets with bakeries, banks, bars, and tailors create a sense of time staggering.

"I visited the gallery yesterday and was surprised to see that very few of the staff were wearing masks and that there was no enforcement of the supposed mandatory requirement for visitors to wear face coverings. As a result there were about a third of the patrons not wearing masks. In my view the Gallery is not taking all reasonable steps to address the risks of Covid-19 infection among its staff and visitors especially in the light of the currently high levels of infection in Liverpool."

"The Us River crosses the center of York Old Town, and the houses on both sides of the river are very close to the river. At the close of sunset, I came to the Us River. The golden embers spilled on the river and the roof. The picture was really beautiful."

Highlights: The River Ouse is located in North Yorkshire, England. It is the sixth longest river in the United Kingdom along with the Hungry River in the same county, with a total length of 84 kilometers. It divides York into east and west, with the main part on the east. The most concentrated place for Yorkers is the River Us, especially after 3:00 pm, people gather by the river in twos and threes. There are tables and chairs placed by the restaurant on the riverside. Everyone buys beer and sits by the river to drink. Some people even pull their suitcases and come directly to the river to bask in the sun.
