One of my favorite temples so far!
Visited this temple as part of my 88 Temple Pilgrimage. When I visited, the only options were to either walk or take the cable car. The cable car costs ¥2400 for the round trip, but if you take your p...
Tairyuji is the 21st temple of the 88-Temple Shikoku Pilgrimage. If you are planning to do the pilgrimage, you probably already know about it. But if you are merely travelling in Tokushima prefectur...
This temple is Temple No.21 on the Shikoku ohenro trail. There are three ways to get there ; walk (if you're doing a walking ohenro, like me), car, ropeway. The ropeway station was right in front of t...

There was only a temple standing on the mountain, and most worshipers seemed to use the ropeway, and it seemed that they were boarding the down flight about 30 minutes later. First-class as a temple. An old temple with considerable auspiciousness. Access is still the best by ropeway. This is Shikoku Sacred Ground 88 or No. 21 Banfudasho. Kukai's training place, also known as the West Takano. The principal image is Kokuzo Bodhisattva, the mountain name is Shashin Mountain, and the INGO is Jojuin. Kaiki is Kukai. You need to climb a little stone steps from the mountaintop station. There are many word of mouth pages on this site, but it is said that all except for the tairyuji ropeway of a completely different corporation can be integrated into this page called "tairyuji".
