Qianfu Temple

I know that there are very few friends in Anyue, and I wonder if there may be fewer people in the Thousand Buddha Temple. Local people used to call it the Thousand Buddha Village, because the big grotto is still on the mountain, and there is a temple under the mountain called Thousand Buddha Temple. The incense of the Qianfo Temple is still quite vigorous. When I came, I just saw a group of people coming here to burn incense and worship Buddha, and eat here. The staff inside was very enthusiastic and brought me a local snack. It was still delicious. But I think many tourists come here, the most important thing is to see the Qianfo Village behind the Qianfo Temple, which is distributed with various Buddha statues. Although some of these Buddha statues have been damaged, it can be seen that the preservation is relatively intact. And they are all exposed outside the environment, everyone can get close contact, but to ensure the protection of cultural relics. I like the original ecology here, I am the only tourist after walking around, and there are many trees and Buddha statues that have been integrated, this kind of natural wonder may have existed in many places.

The Qianfozhai Scenic Area is only two kilometers away from Anyue County. The road is not very good. You can take a taxi, but you can only walk or wait for the bus to pass by on the return trip. The grottoes are built on the mountain, surrounded by natural grottoes. However, because the scenic spot does not charge tickets and there is no special person to manage it, we all feel very sorry for the weathering of the Buddha statue. Since the stone carvings of the Qianfozhai are in the Qianfozhai Forest Park, the vegetation is lush, and the roots of the trees are interlaced, and the damage to the Buddha statues is also very serious.

This place is actually not far from Anyue County. It is best to drive there. No tickets. There are still quite a lot of stone carvings. Look while walking.

It only takes ten minutes to drive from Yuanjue Cave to Qianfozhai. The road is spacious and quickly drives to the parking lot in front of Qianfo Temple on the mountain. The mountain is very sparse. We walked up the mountain with the stone ladder and then along the path under the mountain rock. We walked while watching the grotto statues on the mountain wall. Because of weathering and sun and rain, many statues on the rocks have been seriously damaged, their faces are blurred, and their clothing and shape can only be vaguely seen. The Qianfo Village on Dayun Mountain, located2.5 kilometers northwest of the county seat, is named because there are more than 3,000 statues of Buddhas and sizes carved on the cliff wall. In 2006, it was announced as the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country. The thousand Buddha Village has 105 cultural relics numbered, and the stone inscription Buddha statues are 3061, distributed on the north and south two mountain rocks. The main existing stone inscription statues are mostly in the Shengtang period and later Song Dynasty. In addition to the Buddha statue stone carvings, there are more than 20 Buddha towers, Tang monuments, inscriptions and other places. The village also has many Bodhisattvas, Luohan, King Kong, Lux, Feitian, Fa Shepherd and Feeding Man and various "transformed" stories. The content is very rich. The carving skills are exquisite (scenic introduction). "Pharmacist Buddha Jingchang". Built in the Tang Dynasty, the inscription of the pharmacist Buddha knot fell on the lotus platform, on the top of the Hua cover, each engraved a man flying in the sky. The pharmacist Buddha engraved four bodhisattvas on the left and the right, combined with the eight bodhisattvas. The left wall relief "12 wishes", the right wall relief "9 horizontal death".
