Deng Gong Temple

Denggong Temple is located on Nandu Street, Nandu Town, Cenxi City. It is 100 kilometers away from Wuzhou city and 20 kilometers away from Cenxi city. It is a tourist attraction displaying ancient Chinese architectural art and local folk culture. Denggong Temple is a brick-wood structure with a hard top. It consists of a front hall, an apse and a middle corridor. The walls are made of blue bricks, and the beam frame is the bucket frame. The beams, columns, fangs, and sandalwood are all made of lattice wood. The front and back halls have carved panels and eaves, erect red columns, painted beams, Ruyi bucket arches, and the corridor connecting the front and rear halls from the street is a coupon gate, and the left and right sides are decorated with engraved flowers. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty, and what is now preserved was rebuilt in the 12th year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1734). There are 4 coiled dragon columns in the temple, more than 4 meters high and 40 cm in diameter. Each wooden column is carved with a mighty dragon. It is the only remaining ancient wood carving art treasure in Guangxi, showing the outstanding creation of our working people. Power and the breadth and depth of ancient Chinese architecture.
