Zhenxing Town

Zhenxing Town is located in Zhenxing New District, Changzhi County, southeastern Shanxi Province. It is located on the western foot of Taihang Mountain and the southern edge of Shangdang Basin. It has convenient transportation and superior geographical location.

Zhenxing Town is located at the foot of Taihang Mountain, at 38° north latitude, with an average annual temperature of 9°C. There are green pines on the mountain and clear water at the foot of the mountain. Surrounded by mountains, green and pleasant climate, it is known as the "City without Fans" and "Natural Oxygen Bar".

In recent years, Zhenxing Town has built folk hotels, farming experience parks, village history exhibition halls and other venues that reflect the local farming civilization and village history development, so that villagers have a place and carrier to reminisce about the past. Especially since 2012, Zhenxing Village has held the Roots Culture and Art Festival every February 15th, with folk performances, cultural appreciation and other forms of activities.

After several years of construction and development, Zhenxing Town has planned to form an ecological landscape of "In spring, Zhenxing enjoys picturesque scenery with chirping birds and fragrant flowers; in summer, Zhenxing enjoys a cool summer resort; in autumn, Zhenxing enjoys abundant fruits and fragrant grains; in winter, Zhenxing enjoys beautiful snow-capped mountains and hot springs for recuperation."
