Guoyuan Garden (Former Residence of Guo Xunqi)

On the gate built with khaki stone on the front facade of the building, Guoyuan is powerful and powerful, most conspicuous. Standing in front of the gate and looking outward, the view is the Yangtze River. Guoyuan has a unique shape, the whole main stand faces the inward concave, forming a turn of eight-shaped shape, and the blue bricks are built in different shapes on the main facade. According to the information provided by the Yuzhong District Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, the main facade of the building is long, hexagonal, oblique cross and one shun and one ding, which are the records of the brick building in the Republic of China. The building was built in 1934 and used as the mansion of General Guo Xunxuan in Xuanxuan, Sichuan. Guo Yuan was labeled as the owner of the house, Guo Xunxuan. Not only the owner of the house is famous, it is worth mentioning that the yellow stone masonry gate inscribed with the word Guo Yuan is also a famous calligrapher in the Republic of China. It is said that Yu Xiangyang during the Republic of China period is magnificent with its word strength and nobleness.
