Furong Temple

Furong Temple was built in the mid-autumn of the 12th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 400 years. It is located in Baoshan Forest Park of Huangjiang River in Dongguan. For half a century, the local people's sympathy and nostalgia for the collapse of Furong Temple have been strong and strong, and the visits and memories of the ruins of Furong Temple have never stopped from all walks of life. In 2004, Master Kong Shi interacted with this long-silent place of blessing, and they had a heart-to-heart bond. Immediately make a vow: this place is here, face difficulties, follow sentient beings, and continue the fate of wisdom. The foundation stone was laid on June 25, 2005. The mountain gate and the layman's building were completed and opened on January 21, 2007, and a ceremony was held. On that day, Dharma rain nectar, a benevolent face, believers in ten directions, and elders of various mountains, all watched the grand occasion and shared the joy. The two century-old camphor trees standing beside the temple are towering, describing the prosperity of the ancient temple. In recent years, the number of good men, believers, women and tourists who come to Furong Temple to visit and worship Buddhist scriptures has been increasing. In the future, Furong Temple is expected to become a desirable place for Buddhism and tourism.
