Zipingpu Reservoir

This is a large-scale comprehensive water conservancy project reservoir built for the construction of water conservancy hydropower. It was built in 2001, solving the electricity problem in the surrounding area, and is a backup water storage facility of Dujiangyan heritage.

Zipingpu Reservoir is an iconic project of western Sichuan development. The construction of the reservoir has played a positive role in the allocation of water in Dujiangyan, and the reservoir area has beautiful scenery.

The Zipingpu Reservoir, built on the dry current on the upper reaches of the Lijiang River, is one of the "ten major projects" of the national western development, which was listed as "Project No. 1" in Sichuan Province in that year, and started construction on March 29, 2001, and began to store water in the gate on September 30, 2005. The development task is to irrigation and urban water supply, combined with power generation, flood control, tourism, aquatic products and other comprehensive utilization.

适合家庭出游，周边都有农家乐，车子可以在路边停一会会看风景拍拍照片，视野很辽阔。看到还是有人钓鱼，被踩出了一条小径。不用去导航的紫坪铺观景台，那里只要停车就是十块钱，是一个专门的露营的点。周边的风景都是大差不差的

位于岷江的紫坪铺水库，是成都的水源，兼顾了发电和成都平原水源，值得去观赏紫坪铺大坝
