Well-preserved old house
Katsukawa-ke was a prosperous marchant family in Iwamura where a female castle lord governed. Their traditional Japanese house is conserved in good condition and you can enter the house for free. It ...
Various Hina dolls are displayed. It's a historic house, so there may be a lot left. I'm glad that the tour fee for the old house 々 in Iwamura is free. The idea of Hina dolls reading the pamphlet is interesting. There was a warehouse in the back, which was spectacular.
It's an Edo period architecture, but it's very fun to see the corridors across the courtyard and the 2nd floors away. In particular, in the daughter's room on the 2nd floor, it's fun to imagine that the girls were absorbed in various thoughts while watching the view from the window here. I thought it was a house with the gorgeous and softness of the person who lived somewhere, such as the corridor, the Japanese room, and the distance.
It is a two-story wooden merchant house built in the late Edo period in the old cityscape of Iwamura and is open to the public for free. It is a very nice building with a large courtyard with a tea room and a servant room. It was good to be able to see valuable buildings.
Admission is free. It is said to be a merchant house in the late Edo period. There is only a merchant house, so it is a very nice structure. I think it's a good idea to take a closer look at the back.
