The Gaochun Insurrection Memorial Hall is located in the south of Beixinzhuang Village, Xiyan Town, 15 kilometers southeast of Gaoyang County, covering an area of 1.05 10,000 square meters, and is a provincial patriotic education base. The Gaochun Insurrection Memorial Hall has martyrs' tombs, martyrs' towers, monuments, Red Army wells, etc. The tower is 16 meters high and has three brick and wooden structures. On August 27, 1932, under the direct leadership of the Hebei Provincial Committee and the Special Committee of the Protected Dependency of the CPC, farmers in Gaoyang and Jixian County set off a large-scale armed peasant uprising that shook North China and affected the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang. From Songjiazhuang in Jixian County to Beixinzhuang in Gaoyang County, the rioting team passed through more than 20 villages to fight counter-revolutionary forces and rescue poor people, and the working masses responded and supported wherever they went. After the rioting team captured Beixinzhuang, after the reorganization, the first team of the Hebei Red Army guerrillas was officially established, with more than 3,000 people, 120 long and short guns, and the local Soviet government was established, greatly stimulating the revolutionary spirit of the vast masses of the people. This riot, showing the heroic and tenacious struggle spirit of the Gaochun people and the unwavering revolutionary belief, has emerged a large number of heroic figures who can sing and cry, in the riot, 47 comrades have died, their sense of personnel, and they have been widely praised by the people.
