Shengguo Temple Site

Shengguo Temple, also known as Shengguo Temple, was originally called Chongsheng Temple. It was built in the second year of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, and was rebuilt by Zen Master Wenxi, the original work of Emperor Zhaozong of Tang Dynasty. The Song Dynasty went to the south, and it was designated as the Diansi Ya, and the resettlement temple Baojiashan. The original site was restored in the Yuan Dynasty, destroyed during the Zhengzheng period, and rebuilt during the Ming Hongwu period. Although this place has changed over and over again, there are a lot of ancient relics left, which can be said to be a place where historical sites are relatively concentrated. There are relief sculptures of the Three Saints in the West, statues of the Eighteen Arhats, inscriptions with the word "faithful" in handwriting by Zhao Gou of Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty, and scenic spots such as Guangguang Rock and Moon Viewing Moon Rock.
