Show More ReviewsThis is an archaeological site and museum in the UK. The museum displays many relics of Roman garrisons and their families excavated from the archaeological site. One wall of shoes is impressive, see Figure 6. From this pile of shoes, archaeologists speculate that the garrison included not only adults but also children and women. Outside the museum is an archaeological site, but unfortunately the weather was not good and it rained heavily, so I took two photos from a distance and didn't take a closer look.
