Holy Mother's Palace
Original Text
I misunderstood that there was a Christian church. It is located at the end of the road in a narrow port town with Katsumoto Town. I was interested in Katsumoto Castle, but it is a very old shrine.
When I looked at the map only for the name of the kanji, I thought it was a church. There was something like a parking lot on the approach. Since there are few cars, I thought that it would be possible to park near the quay in a short time. When I read the origin at an old shrine, there was also the name of Empress Jingu.
Parked on the nearby coast. Chozusha is a large shark shell. As it was the shrine of Empress Jingu, there was a donation of the gate from Kiyomasa Kato and Naoshige Nabeshima because it was the base of the coast. The nearby Inari is unique.
It is a shrine in the back of Katsumoto's fishing port. It is a shrine with a history of color 々, but the chozubachi is made of large shellfish, so I would like you to see it when you worship.
I read it as Shomogu. It is located in a fishing port town called Katsumoto on Iki Island. It is said to have originated from the construction of the gyogu when Empress Jingu waited for the wind in Iki during the conquest of Sankan. If you go out of the site and walk a little, you will find "horseshoe stone". This is the remains of the horseshoe of Empress Jingu during the conquest of Sanhan. There is a wonderful stone wall nearby, and it used to be a officer's dormitory. The history of Katsumoto is the history of Iki Island.

An old shrine with a surprising history

A shrine related to empress Jingu
Parked on the nearby coast. Chozusha is a large shark shell. As it was the shrine of Empress Jingu, there was a donation of the gate from Kiyomasa Kato and Naoshige Nabeshima because it was the base of the coast. The nearby Inari is unique.
Also pay attention to the chozubachi!
