Senso-ji Temple is located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. This ancient Buddhist temple is a captivating travel destination with a rich history and vibrant surroundings. As you approach the temple, Nakamise-dori, a bustling street lined with traditional shops, leads the way. These shops offer a delightful array of souvenirs, traditional crafts, and local snacks, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors. The scent of incense fills the air as you enter the temple grounds, enhancing the spiritual experience.Exploring the temple complex, you'll encounter the iconic Thunder Gate (Kaminarimon) with its massive red lantern. Beyond it, the main hall, Hondo, stands majestically. Visitors can partake in the ritual of purifying themselves with the smoke of burning incense and then proceed to admire the beauty of the temple's architecture.Senso-ji is not only a religious site but also a cultural hub. Nearby, the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Information Center offers panoramic views of the area, providing a perfect vantage point for photography enthusiasts. Additionally, Sumida Park, along the Sumida River, offers a tranquil escape, especially during cherry blossom season.Overall, Senso-ji Temple and its surroundings provide a perfect blend of history, spirituality, and vibrant local culture, making it a must-visit destination for travelers in Tokyo.

A beautiful sight of Japanese traditional art and culture. Right outside is the famous Harajuku area, so it makes for an interesting two-sided experience.

It is a well-known landmark, and there are many people on the scene. Unfortunately, the cherry blossom season has passed. Otherwise, there will be a lot of cherry blossoms here. It is very beautiful to shoot. You can see the magnificent sculptures and the magnificent scenery behind. It is worth visiting 😍🥰.

Walking day trip at Kamakura , a very popular temple for a reason. There is a beautiful promenade between the station and shrine. It is easy to access and has good signs. There are nice toilets and a museum. The shrine itself can be busy, so if you want to go inside and do blessings, be prepared to wait a little. Overall very beautiful and worth seeing. It is a Shinto shrine established in 11th century, built in 1828 in the traditional Edo architectural style. Will visit again because here have a lot nearby temple we haven't finish for 1 days trip.

It is worth a visit, not far from Narita Airport, belonging to the Secret Sect Buddhism. The gardens in Narita Mountain Park next to the temple are beautiful, belonging to a typical Japanese courtyard, and the scenery is different in the four seasons.

Cat-filled temple! Quite the journey to get here but quite worth it 🐱 So many cat statues around and just heaven if you’re a cat lover. Keep in mind the opening hours though!

The flying phoenix in Kanoyama Konoji has a Kanoyama Konoji Temple in Juntsu City, Japan. In fact, it is called Noji, just a proxy. Just like the name of the Japanese, the original ancestor was born there, the name is how to call it. When I came to Kanoyama, the architecture here is actually very similar to many places, the big red house plus the black roof. There are other colors interspersed in the middle. But the most interesting places here are two places. One is the entrance to the main hall here, and there is a row of beautiful stone lamps. The bottom of the lamp is a hexagonal, and then go up a bit like the waist drum we beat. Standing there, the waist drum is a hexagonal inverted arc. On it is this lamp holder. On the lamp holder, the beautiful hexagonal moths make the small palace lamp look cute. There is also a small polygonal pavilion here. The walls of the pavilion are logs with age. The exquisite carving on the door is very beautiful. There is also a carving like this under the roof eaves. It is like carving a phoenix that has been lovely. The color of the roof is big red, the only difference is that the whole roof is a bit like a raised phoenix head. Tips: Tickets: Free Open Hours: All Day

Japan has lost this temple, it seems very clean, because its geographical location is relatively special, this temple when I went there were a lot of monks here to read scriptures, cultivate their body, such a scene looks so quiet, so peaceful
