After the departure of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the left-behind personnel and the Jianping County Government (renamed Pingshan County in 1958) handed over the things left by the central organs. In order to protect revolutionary sites and cultural relics, in 1955, the Hebei Provincial Museum jointly established the preparatory office of Xibaipo Memorial Hall. In 1958, the former site of the CPC Central Committee was relocated due to the construction of the Gangnan Reservoir. Starting in December 1970, the relocation construction was carried out in a place 500 meters north of the original site and 57 meters above sea level. On March 11, 1982, the State Council announced that the former site of the CPC Central Committee in Xibaipo was a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. On May 1, 1987, a monument of cultural relics protected area was established, and the cultural relics protected area was delimited 391800 square meters, and the nature protected area 1333200 square meters.

The Memorial Hall of the Work-study Movement of Liufa, located at No. 86 Jintaiyu Street, Baoding City, Hebei Province, the former site of Baoding Yude Middle School, is a historical museum. As early as 1978, some comrades of the Hebei Provincial Museum, Baoding District Cultural Bureau and Gaoyang County Cultural and Education Bureau, with the care and support of Li Weihan and He Changgong and other veterans of the left-faring veterans, carried out the collection and collation of cultural relics and historical materials of the left-faring work-study movement. He visited more than 100 students, workers and comrades in Pharaoh's China and related comrades in more than a dozen cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Hunan, and collected a large amount of information, photos and real objects. He held his first meeting in Gaoyang County in May 1981. "A Brief History Exhibition of the Work-study Movement in France". In August of the same year, the exhibition was revised and supplemented by the Chinese Revolutionary Museum and the Hebei Provincial Museum, and re-made, and approved by the leadership of the relevant units such as the Central Organizing Department, the Central Propaganda Department, the CPC Party History Research Association, the State Administration of Cultural Relics and some of the Pharaohs who stayed, When Beijing was on public display again, it made a splash in Beijing, and the students and leaders in Beijing who stayed in France and worked hard and were given a high evaluation. Since then, the exhibition has been to Hunan, Sichuan, Guangdong and other provinces with the largest number of people who stayed in France for two years, and has been widely welcomed and praised by all walks of life. Baoding is the birthplace of the movement of staying in France for work and study; Mr. Li Shizeng, the main advocate and leader of the movement, is a native of Gaoyang County, Baoding City. The original Baoding Yude Middle School first set up a reserve class for staying in the law, and now it still retains a part of the former site of Yude Middle School. The long-term preservation and exhibition of these precious cultural relics has extremely profound historical and practical significance for educating the young generation to work hard to revitalize China. To this end, the CPC Central Committee in February 1983 instructed the establishment of the Memorial Hall of the Work-study Movement in the former site of Yude Middle School in Baoding City, Hebei Province. In June 1992, Jiang Zemin, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, wrote the name of the museum. In September 1994, the memorial was named "Hebei Provincial Committee of the CPC and the People's Government of Hebei Province" and the tree was placed in front of the door. In November 1995, the CPC Baoding Municipal Committee and Baoding Municipal People's Government designated the memorial as "Baoding Patriotism Education Base".
