Located in the secluded paradise of Wenhai Village in Lijiang, about 40 minutes to an hour's drive from Lijiang Old Town, but coming here will definitely not disappoint you. Here, you can stroll in the rarely trodden grassland, admire the beautiful snow mountains and lake scenery, and taking photos and camping are also great choices. To go to Wenhai Village, you can choose to take a taxi or drive by yourself. If you choose to take a taxi, it is recommended to go early, because it may be too late to get a taxi back. If you drive by yourself, you can navigate directly to Wenhai Village. In terms of travel strategy, I personally suggest that friends who want to see more snow mountains can go to the right of the village (the right bank of the lake facing the village). That side is the best place to watch the sunset and the sunrise over the Golden Mountain. Most people will choose to go to the left side, where you can ride horses, hold lambs and take portraits (for a fee, but the price is not expensive, about fifty or sixty yuan for a ride). If you have enough time, you can go to both sides to play and take pictures, either by walking or driving. In Wenhai Village, there are many restaurants and cafes, you can go and find them yourself, and experience the local food and coffee culture. In addition, I recommend choosing a piece of equipment suitable for high-altitude complex and changeable weather, such as the Kailas MONT-X hard shell storm jacket. Wenhai Village is located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, with an altitude of more than 3000 meters. This GORE TEX 3L hard shell can block wind and rain well, and cope with the weather changes at high altitude at any time. It also has wrist-fitting magic tape cuffs to prevent wind and rain from pouring in, and it is also very high in appearance, and is one of the must-have equipment for travel. Queue up at 6:30 AM to take the cable car (💰140). Take the first cable car up the mountain at 7:00 AM, and then wait for the sunlight to illuminate the Golden Mountain. Around 10:00 AM, descend the mountain to take a bus to Spruce Meadow, where you need to take a ropeway (💰60). After getting off the ropeway, have instant noodles for lunch, then walk to the Great Lawn, stroll around and take photos. Around 12:10 PM, take the ropeway down to Blue Moon Valley. At about 12:30 PM, board the electric cart in Blue Moon Valley (💰50), and then start exploring Blue Moon Valley. Around 3:30 PM, take the bus out of the mountain.
